Anambra Guber: Spent Forces destabilizing PDP –Obi, Anenih

Ahead of the Anambra State governorship election coming up November 6, 2021, former Minister for Women Affairs, Mrs Josephine Anenih, has called on the party to sanction characters parading parallel candidate for the governorship election. Describing them as sworn enemies of the party, Anenih insisted that these characters, whose stock in trade is to merchandize the party in every election season, were paid by desperate politicians to carry court orders in their pockets wherever they go, in order to ensure that the party do not go into elections as a united family. BREAKING: Ondo Deputy governor officially resigns as PDP member

  …Set to defect to ZLP tomorrow ONDO State Deputy Governor, Hon Agboola Ajayi has resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Ajayi according to his Media Adviser, Allen Sowore in a statement in Akure said that Ajayi decision to resign was as a result of the call on him by a majority of the good people of Ondo State to give hope to the hopeless, provide credible and purposeful leadership in our dear State. The deputy governor has, therefore, reassured his teaming supporters to remain focused and committed as he will be announcing his next line of action shortly. 2023: I Have No Presidential Ambition – Lawan

  Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, on Saturday debunked the rumour making the rounds that he is nursing a presidential ambition ahead of the 2023 general elections. Lawan, who was reacting to recent publications about his purported plan to contest the 2023 presidential election, described the rumour as “beer parlour gossips” that should be disregarded as it has the potential of dragging the noble profession of journalism into the gutters. Lawan had through a statement signed by his Media Special Adviser, Ola Awoniyi, described the publications as mere distractions, adding that it would be too early in the day to be talking about 2023 when the country has pressing national issues to attend to.
