MASSOB/BIM warns of Impending Shutting of Commercial Activities in Anambra Calls on Governor Willie Obiano to intervene

The leadership of MASSOB in Anambra state has called on the government of Anambra state, lead by Chief Wille Obiano to direct Justice Otti,of Ogidi  High court to henceforth release their members who have been held in detention without trial for the last 4 years. Chief Arinze Igbani made this call recently at Ekwulobia, where he led other MASSOB members to a protest march, which was peaceful to ensure that their members who has been held captive without trail in various prisons in the state are released. He said that he is giving the state government one week to release unconditionally their members who are innocent or else they will mobilize there members throughout the state for a peacefully protest.  He however called on Amnesty International and other Civil Rights Organizations in Nigeria and beyond to come to their aid, in fighting injustice that has been melted out to their group, because of the fight against injustice which MASSOB/BIM is known for.  He called on Chief Wi

Presidential Delegation visits Ozubulu Sunday attack victims at NAUTH Nnewi and Oba Trauma Center.

A Presidential delegation comprising Minister of Health Prof. Isaac Adowole, Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige,Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Godfrey Onyema, Minister of State for Environment,Ibrahim Usman and Minister of State for Education Prof Anthony Anwuka yesterday visited victims of attack at St Philips Catholic Church Ozubulu, Anambra State. Ifeanyi Ubah’s detention: Nnewi Sports Club Protest continued detention

More protests have continued to greet the continued incarceration of the chairman of the Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, who has been in the detention cell of the Department of State Services (DSS) since May 6. Ifeanyiubahgate: Nnewi Youths Ground Commercial Activities in Nnewi, seeks justice for Ifeanyi Ubah

Youths of Nnewi community in Nnewi North Council Area of Anamnbra State, today, staged a peaceful protest, demanding the release of Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah over the continued incarceration of their brother, the chairman of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd., by the officials of the DSS. NIOF EXTENDS FREE MEDICAL CARE TO ANAMBRA

Nnogha-Ifeoma Okeke Foundation( NIOF) over the weekend extended its free health care delivery service to Mbanagu, Otolo Nnewi, in Nnewi North L.G.A of Anambra state, to carter, for the health needs of people in the area. Emeakayi seeks 24-hour police protection, calls on Anambra Police Commancd to investigate his petition
