The Crown Prince of Nnewi dynasty, Prince Obi Orizu, has donated hostels and a cafeteria to Nigerian Science & Technical college Nnewi, through his foundation Prince Obi Orizu Foundation, as part of his contributions to charity and community development, with assistance from Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and friends. In his keynote address at the occasion, Prince Obi Orizu, said that the welfare of the younger generation is  uttermost to him, considering the privilege they enjoyed while going to school. He said that the environment at which most of the students in this era study is terrible and promised to do something in that direction to ensure that they had a new lease of life. His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano has promised to usher in a new order in his second term in office. He said this in a meeting he held with members of his cabinet in Awka. On October 9, Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari,  revealed she recently fell sick and against all advice, refused to go to London to receive treatment.
