Suspected herdsmen have kidnapped four Reverend Fathers in Abraka axis, Ethiope East local government area. One of those whisked away by the kidnappers is Reverend Father Emmanuel Obadjere. It was gathered from sources close to the Priests that the ugly incident occurred on Tuesday as they were descending the bridge in Abraka. The clergy men were reportedly in four vehicles but the kidnappers allegedly forced two of the vehicles to a halt, ordering the occupants to alight   Two of the Priests are from Benin arch diocese, one from Abuja and the other from Warri Diocese” At press time, it could not be confirmed if the kidnappers had made any demand for ransom. A suspect, Prosper Peter Akachukwu, yesterday claimed he murdered an Umuahia, Abia State-based pastor, Kelechukwu Iwuanyanwu aka Apostle Blessed of Wind of Glory Ministry, the assistant pastor and the women leader. Akachukwu, who was paraded at the state Police Command Headquarters, said he killed the pastor and two others because Iwuanyanwu reneged on a promise. The suspect, who hails from Mbaise in Imo State, said Iwuanyanwu, who also hailed from Mbano in the same state, was his childhood friend. He added that they both attended the same secondary school and started ministering together as gospel preachers. But he had to kill his friend and ministerial colleague for allegedly failing to keep to an agreement to settle him after helping him to grow the church through the use of charms and mediums.
