Ihedioha, Ararume makes INEC list as APC Candidate missing We can authoritatively confirm that APC does not have a Governorship Candidate in Imo State as INEC has confirmed Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha as the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate for the 2019 Governorship election in the State. Also, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume was Confirmed as APGA Governorship Candidate. ELITE FITNESS CLUB OFFSETS HOSPITAL BILLS FOR INDIGENT PATIENTS AT NAUTH

A lagos based association, Elite Fitness Club, today, visited the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, NAUTH, Nnewi, Anambra State, where they paid off hospital bills of patients, who had no means of offsetting their bills. Nigerian Notch, reliably gathered, that many patients in the hospital have stayed longer than normal at their various wards, because of their inability to pay their hospital bills. The group, on arrival, paid courtesy visit, to Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Prof. Anthony Igwegbe, also went round different wards in the hospital where they met and had a heart to heart talk with patients. Addressing newsmen, the leader of the team, Chief Amobi Ike, said the visit was part of their  annual visitation where they visit hospitals or destitute homes to give succour to the poor and needy. Breaking News Court Strikes out Samdaddy's Suit, Orders him to pay Ihedioha, PDP, N.2m and N.1 respectively.

A Federal High Court in Owerri, today struck out the primary suit filed by Senator Samuel Anyanwu, first runner up at the recently conducted PDP governoship primaries. The Court also ordered  Senator Samuel Anyanwu to pay to the respondents, the sum of N300, 000 for unnecessary delay of court process, uncoordinated approach to the court processes. While N100, 000 out of the sum will be paid to the 1st Respondent, PDP, the sum of  N200, 000 will be paid to the the winner of the Imo PDP governoship primaries, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, 2nd Respondent. The trial judge scolded Samdaddy's counsel for poor coordination and lack of seriousness in pursuit of their matter. FUEL STATION MANAGER KILLED BY EMPLOYER IN NNEWI Atmosphere at Okpuno Nnewichi, Nnewi, in Nnewi North Local Government Area   Anambra State was tensed up on Wednesday, November 7th 2018, when a Fuel Station Manager at NENCO Fuel station was murdered by his employer. The deceased, whose full identity was not verified at the time of filing this report was said to be a member of Aghazu family in Nnewichi; and works as a manager at the fuel station. Problem started when his employer (names not ascertained); told him to immediately provide the sum of N40,000 which he said was missing from the company's purse.  Our reporter learnt that the manager begged his employer to bear with him, and deduct the said sum from his November salary; but the director of the fuel station declined and insisted that the money must be provided instantly. Court Seals Four Banks In Imo Over Okorocha’s Refusal To Pay Ohakim His Entitlements As Ex-Governor

Four banks were, on Wednesday morning, sealed in Owerri, the Imo State capital, over their failure to respect an order of the court issued in favour of a former governor of the state, Ikedi Ohakim; and against the incumbent governor, Rochas Okorocha. The affected banks are Diamond on Item Street, First Bank PLC on Bank Road, United Bank for Africa on Mbari Street and Union Bank on Bank Road. When our correspondent visited the banks, staff and customers stood outside, as a red tape was used to seal the banks. A notice of attachment from National Industrial Court in Owerri, dated November 6, 2018, which was pasted in front of the banks, indicated that the affected banks had failed to honour a garnishee order issued by the court against the banks.
