Consulate to build new office at Eko Atlantic City

The United States Consul General in Lagos, Mr. John Bray on yesterday disclosed that the US government had acquired about 50,000 square metres of land at the upcoming Eko Atlantic City in Lagos for the Consulate’s new head office. John Bray Bray who made the disclosure at his residence in Ikoyi, Lagos during the signing of the engagement between the U.S. government officials and developers and promoters of Eko Atlantic City led by Mr. Ronald Chagoury, the Executive Chairman of South EnergyX Nigeria, said the decision to build a new consulate in the new City was to afford Nigerians better and more access to its services. Don't relent in impounding branded/marked party vehicles - HURIJE Tells Police

The Human Rights Liberty Access and Peace Defenders Foundation (HURIJE) has asked the Anambra State Police  Command to implement its decision to  impound political party and unmarked vehicles in the State as from 1st June, 2019. OPERATION PUFF ADDER :POLICE NAB CULT MEMBERS DURING INITIATION.

The police in Anambra state has nabbed over 19 Cult members of Aiye confraternity, during their initiation at ukulu forest in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State. Legal luminaries have declared that the fact that some judges are married to top politicians does not necessarily obstruct the dispensation of justice to aggrieved citizens. New Kano emirates: Why Court restrained Ganduje

   A Kano High Court sitting at Ungogo on Friday granted an order restraining Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje from taking any action to legitimize the four new emirates he created. The four new emirates are Rano, Bichi, Gaya and Karaye. The order followed a suit filed by one Rabi’u Sule-Gwarzo challenging the decision of the governor to create the four additional emirates in the state. The presiding Judge, Justice Nasiru Saminu, gave an interim injunction directing all parties involved in the suit to maintain status quo pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice. APGA NWC clears Oye of alleged fraud

The National Working Committee, NWC, of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has berated those accusing the party’s National Chairman, Chief Victor Oye of alleged embezzlement, denying that such thing ever existed in the party.
