Kennedy Ibeh has indicated interest to partner Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Imo State Chapter to curb fake news. Hon. Senator Ekwunife calls on PDP, other political parties to reserve 40% position for women during party congresses

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife has once again reiterated her call for the involvement of more women in politics. The Senator through a statement on Wednesday, tasked political parties to take the advantage of party congresses to nominate at least 40% of women to the different offices in the party hierarchy, such as: the ward, LGA, State and National levels of the party. BREAKING! COVID-19: PTF Reduces Nationwide Curfew To 10pm-4am

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has reduced the nationwide curfew from 10pm to 4am. The National Coordinator of the PTF, Dr Sani Aliyu, announced this on Monday at the daily briefing of the task force in Abuja, the nation’s capital. He said, “Effective from tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, 2020, the easing of the lockdown will be characterised by the following: The nationwide curfew will remain in place but the timing of this will be reduced to 10pm to 4am. “And just to clarify, the purpose of the curfew is to limit social interactions and, therefore, reduce the risk of transmission of the virus,” he added.
