Reason Why CAC Withdrew Registration Certificate Of Ohaneze, Arewa, Other Groups.

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has withdrawn the registration certificate of Ohanaeze Ndigbo General Assembly, the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) and other socio-cultural groups in Nigeria. Disclosing this at the weekend in Abuja, the Registrar General of CAC, Mr Garba Abubakar, said the measure was part of the reforms the Commission was putting in place to subject such applications to thorough scrutiny following security threats that may arise from such registrations. The RG noted that the reforms are a measure put together to sanitise the Commission operations which lead to the recent withdrawal of the certificate of registration earlier issued to Ohaneze Ndigbo General Assembly. Okorocha denies any alliance with Ihedioha, against Uzodinma

Former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, says he has not made any form of alliance with his predecessor, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, against the current Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma. Okorocha while reacting to allegations made by the Director, New Media, who pointed fingers to an alliance with Ihedioha. Kaduna Civil Servants To Resume Monday

Kaduna State has directed its civil servants to report to work on Monday, July 20, 2020, after working remotely for over three months at home, following the invoking of the Quarantine Act and Kaduna State Public Health Law, which quarantined all residents on March 26. A circular issued by the office of the Head of Service on Thursday, stated that different category of workers will work in different days of the week, from 9am to 3pm. According to the circular which was signed by Ibrahim Jere, Permanent Secretary (Public Service Officer), all Permanent Secretaries, Directors General, Chief Executives of Agencies and Parastatals, as well as Directors will work from Monday to Friday. The circular further stated that officers on Grade Level 14 and above will work for three days, including Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while officers on Grade Level 7 to 13 will work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. The circular also noted that in an effort to contain the spread of Covid-19, visi
