EASTERN NIGERIA: EXTRACTS FROM THE WILLINKS COMMISSION REPORT OF 1958.

An appraisal is needed. 1. “More than 98% of people who inhabit this area (the ‘Igbo Plateau’ of the Eastern region) are Igbo and speak one language, though of course with certain differences of dialect. There are nearly five million of them and they are too many for the soil to support: they are vigorous and intelligent and have pushed outward in every direction, seeking a livelihood by trade or in service in the surrounding areas of the Eastern Region, in the Western Region, in the North and outside Nigeria. It was Christine Szymanski that said and I quote :   "Negative people exist on reactions from others ,it is their fuel to survive. Do not give into the temptation to respond. It is not your responsibility to keep their tank full and yours empty".  But Edmund Burke also said that : "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing"  *The time has come for the well meaning people of Anambra  to call the wife of the Governor to order INCLUDING the two fellas of Nnewi extraction that she appointed SAs, who are being used to bring disrepute to Ndi Nnewi, by dragging their traditional institution to the mud, (at the appropriate time, they must face the consequence of their actions.)* Today, from writing all manner of lies on a daily basis against the Distinguished Senator from Nnewi, (infantile write ups that people have continued to ignore). They have now graduated to subjecting  the great Royal stool of Nnewi to ridicule, by deliberately pe
