I was so ashamed, to see how mindless and wicked some state governments are, especially on how they handled the covid19 palliatives, meant for the very poor, in the midst of hunger and starvation in the country, while our people were handed crumbs during the lockdown, from politicians, who stocked away palliatives meant for the citizenry for God knows what. We showed Nigerians and the world through the peaceful protests, throughout Nigeria, that we are able and ready to take over the realms of power, and we can't wait any further. #EndSARS protests escalate in most parts of Nigeria, with killings and destruction, especially the recent mayhem in Nnewi  and its environ, where police officers were killed and stations burnt, the member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon.   Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, Rev. Fr. Obimma Emmanuel, yesterday, mobilised youths to clean-up rubbish left in the streets and major roads of Onitsha, the commercial city of Anambra State, as a result of burn-fire made by #EndSARS protesters. The Catholic priest, who personally joined in the clean-up exercise, also made available refuse disposal truck and his personal vehicle to help evacuate the rubbish. Speaking during the exercise, Fr. Obimma, popularly known as Ebube Muonso, called on the protesters to cease fire, in order to protect lives and property.  T here was tension in Anambra State yesterday afternoon, as #EndSARS protesters stormed police divisions in Orsumenyi, Amichi and Ukpor; all in Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state, setting the stations on fire and killing the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, of Orsumenyi Division, Mr. Akoan, and the Divisional Crime Officer, DCO, of the same station, whose name was not ascertained. The Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano has declared a twenty four - hours curfew in the state starting from 8pm today, Thursday, October 22nd, 2020. Governor Willie Obiano who made this declaration in a statewide broadcast said it was necessary to nip in the bud the envisaged unpleasant incidents that has been recorded so far in the state as well as the rising tension in the country. He stated that the anger of #EndSars protesters is justifiable, but tasked the protesters to be peaceful in carrying it out. Consequently, Governor Obiano declared that all schools and markets in the state have been closed down, stressing that all large gatherings in any form are banned. He said that the security agencies are on notice to do the needful, asking them to resist all efforts to provoke them to the use of extreme force. The Human Rights,Liberty Access and Peace Defenders Foundation (HURIDE) has  unequivocally comdemned  the  coordinatef jailbreak in two Benin prisons in  Edo State and wanton destruction of lives and properties by suspected hoodlums who infiltrated the  End SARS protesters. Founder and Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra state, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly known as Fr. Ebube Muonso, has narrated how he escaped death by the whiskers when suspected cults boys in his community, Nkwelle-Ezunaka, attacked him because of a sermon he preached in the church.
