23rd National Junior Engineers, Technicians & Scientists (JETS) Competition: Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba Task Participants to improve on experience gained

The Minister of state for Education, Hon.  Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba(PhD) has tasked the participants of the just concluded, 23rd National Junior Engineers, Technicians & Scientists (JETS) Competition to improve on the experience they gained from the competition, which he said had the vision of developing talents throughout the country. In his closing remarks, Hon Nwajiuba stated that " I have been fully briefed about the wonderful hospitality of the director/CEO and the entire staff of the center, right from the pre visit by the officials of the ministry to the centre up to this moment, I was not expecting anything less, we are all one in the federal ministry of education" He however thanked all resource persons, coordinator, accompanying teachers and students from all the states and FCT for their untiring efforts towards making the competition a great success. Nwajiuba, Dare kicks off Principals Cup competition in Lagos

The minister of state for education Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba and his counterpart from the ministry of sports and youth development has kicked off the popular principals cup at the Agege stadium in Lagos. The first match of the competition was between Igbobi secondary school and Goverment college kaduna. While the minister of state for education and sports and youths development were joined by the deputy governor of Edo state, H.E Philip Shaibu, Daniel Amokochi and Mary Onyali.  The Principals Cup is a football competition amongst secondary schools, aimed at fostering camaraderie and identifying local football talent at grass-root level. The Competition begins at the start of a new academic session in secondary schools and ends mid June of every year, although the Covid19 may have distorted the process. The competition is expected to harvest talents who will represent Nigeria in future competitions.

CP Kuryas, resume in Anambra,reads riot act to criminals.

The new Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Monday Bala Kuryas, has resumed in the state after the immediate past Commissioner of Police AIG John Abang  was promoted and transferred to zone 4 Markudi. In his first address to the press today, CP Kuryas reaffirmed his comittment to rid Anambra  of crime and criminal elements, as such laying the foundation for a crime free Anambra State. CP Kuryas is the 29th Commissioner of Police in Anambra state. He opined that "In keeping with the vision of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, to make Nigeria a safe and secured place for economic development and growth, Anambra command under my watch, shall take drastic measures on crime. Therefore, all our efforts and energies shall be mobilised and deployed towards the prevention of crimes and successful apprehension of criminals that would test our resolve.  "The command under my watch shall reinvigorate Operation Puff Adder II, and give it more bite

Rochas Okorocha has been arrested by Imo state police command on charges we are yet to ascertain at the moment. But this evening news broke about the former governor taking his aides to break into the sealed property, by Imo state government, allegedly owned by his wife. All my life, I can say, I am a man of grace; a man whom God has special love for. This was been made manifest right from my early childhood. I am a son of a village catechist and headmaster, and my mother was a petty trader. I am the last of seven children. My mother is 86 this year; while my father is 92.  This year, they will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. Because my fath
