FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION LAUNCHES BESDA TO TACKLE THE ISSUE OF OUT OF SCHOOL CHILDREN

In keeping with President Muhammadu Buhari’s roadmap to whittle-down the number of out of school children, the Hon. Minister of State for Education Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba today, 1st April, officially launched the Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Speaking at the occasion, * Honourable Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba * emphasized that for every serious economy to be viable much investment must be channelled into its education sector. The Honorable minister, reiterated the commitment of the Federal government in ensuring that education is made accessible and also affordable to the poorest of the poor and those at the rural areas. Moghalu Convenes Summit to Mobilize Influential Youth Voices for Good Governance

Prof Kingsley Moghalu has convened a summit aimed at mobilizing influential youth voices for good governance and accountability.  He said that the voice of Nigerian youths on how they can shape their own future will be heard around the world as the Institute for Governance and Economic Transformation (IGET), a public policy think tank headed by Professor Kingsley Moghalu, a former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Deputy Governor,  hosts the first Elevating Youth Voices Summit on April 10, 2021 at 2 pm WAT. University of Calabar 34th Convocation: President Buhari harps on need for grooming future leaders

President Muhammad Buhari has once again called on administrators of Ivory Towers in the country, to be mindful of there basic role, which is to groom future leaders. He made this call, at the 34th Convocation ceremony of the University of Calabar, in Cross River State. The president who was represented by the minister of state for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba,while delivering the visitor's address on behalf of President Muhammad Buhari, the honorable minister reminded the school management of their responsibility as a university, which is an instrument for the cultivation and grooming of the moral values that guide the trajectory to tomorrow's development. Nwajiuba meets with Imo Stakeholders

  ~ Highlights on the achievements of PMB Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, the Honorable minister of state for education, yesterday in Imo meet with Elders and stakeholders on the many achievements of the current administration led by President Muhammad Buhari and cogent plans by the federal government for Ndi Imo. This meeting, is in continuation of Hon. Nwajiuba's earlier drive in February 2021 to intimate Ndi Imo of what the federal government is doing and will continue to do to better the lives of Ndi Imo and Nigerians at large.
