PDP Govs flag off electronic membership registration, declares total support for Ozigbo

Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today flagged of electronic membership registration exercise for the party in Anambra State. The governors, Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State said the party flagged off the event in Anambra because of the November 6 gubernatorial poll in the state. The governors, led by Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State also assured victory for the party’s governorship candidate, Mr Valentine Ozigbo and his deputy, Mrs Azuka Enemo. They however enjoined the electorate in the state to obtain their voters cards, to be eligible to vote for the party in this year's Election. Governor Obaseki, who is the Chairman of E-Registration exercise said, “We chose Anambra State as first state to launch it due to the November 6 gubernatorial poll. Abohah Ohi Residents ask Imo state government to checkmate Goodhope Bread against environmental pollution.

The Residents of Abohah Ohi of Owerri West LGA of Imo state has called on the state government to urgently come to their aid to forestall possible breakdown of Public health and public order in their environment because of the activities of Mr. Osmond Nkeonye, who owns Good Hope Bread or Klaver concepts, whom the residents said has allowed waste from his fish farm to flood the road, which has also polluted their environment.  Narrating their ordeal, Mr.  Ndukaku Chimezie who was named after the close, said that their pleas to the owner of the fish pond to find a way to dispose his waste properly has felled on deaf ears. He said that the wastes/water  discharged from the fish ponds of Osmond Nkeoma has become a great pollution treat and health risk to him & other residents of Ndukaku Chimezie Close.  Mr Chimezie went further to state that he has complained to the Health Department of Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) on the matter, which the goverment agency has done well

ANAMBRA 2021:APGA MEMBERS IN ORUMBA NORTH, SOUTH, COLLAPSE STRUCTURE FOR OZIGBO.

IMO STATE GOVERNMENT RECEIVES RESCUED IMO STUDENTS FROM JOS

Following the prompt rescue and evacuation of Imo State Students from Jos, the Plateau State capital, the Imo State Government last night received the students as they arrived Owerri, the State Capital. Recall that the city of Jos was struck by crisis which necessitated the prompt rescue of Imolites stranded and wishing to be evacuated. This number largely fell on the category of students and the Imo State Government swung into action to effect their rescue. Irrespective of their final destination, those desirous of rescue were evacuated and taken to a safe departure point while others arrived Owerri last night and received at the Government House by the Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, on behalf of the state Government.
