Nwajiuba launches 2019 School Based Management Committee-School Improvement Programme (SBMC-SIP) Implementation in Gombe

The minister of state for Education Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba today at the Government House, Gombe, Gombe State, launched the 2019 School Based Management Committee-School Improvement Programme (SBMC-SIP) Implementation. This is in view of the gaps in school management, especially the gap between schools and host communities as well as parents and old student Associations The programme is however designed to create an avenue for all parties involved to contribute their quota towards improved school management for the good of students. Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba at the event charged all stakeholders to give their best without relenting, to enable a robust relationship. Also at the event were the Deputy Govrrnor of Gombe State  H.E Manasseh Daniel Jatau, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Ochono, the Executive Secretary,  Universal Basic Education Commission, Dr. Hammed Boboyi and other dignitaries from the state and federal government.

Anambra Guber: Ohaneze advise Andy Uba, Maduka, others not to go to court

The Anambra State chapter of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo, has called on candidate's of different political parties that participated in the November 6th governorship election in the state, who are aggrieved over the outcome of the polls not to approach the courts for the sake of peace. Ex-PSC Boss, Simon Okeke Insists on Igbo Presidency in 2023

The former Police Service Commission Chairman, Chief Simon Okeke has insisted that the issue of having an Igbo man as the next President of Nigeria come 2023 is sacrosanct. He made this assertion recently in an interactive session with select Journalists in his Akatar Lodge residence in Amichi Anambra state.  Okeke averred that Igbo people of the South East extraction have sound materials for the position of the president, and urged Nigerians to give the South East the opportunity to serve the country in that capacity. “Since inception of this country, Nigeria has not had an elected president of the South East extraction. Nwajiuba Inspects Batch B 2021 Professional Qualifying Examinations for registration of teachers.

The Honorable Minister of State Education,  Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba paid an inspection visit to the Venue of the Batch B 2021 Professional Qualifying Examinations for the registration of teachers. At the Abuja exam centre Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the examinations while charging the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria to double efforts to have all teachers in the country registered and certified.  The Minister said this is one step geared towards improving the quality of education in the country. He was joined by the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono.
