Hon Sir Engr Eloka Clement Ikeh, a frontline member of the PDP in Nnewi North LGA, and an aspirant for Nnewi North state house of assembly has described the late Prince Abyssinia Akweke Nwafor Orizu  (17 July 1914 – 1999, as a Nigerian of Igbo origin who has made his mark in the history of Nigerian political sphere, as a doyen of politics. Sir, Eloka Ikeh made this known while interacting with Journalists on the side lines of the 23rd memorial anniversary of late Prince Abyssinia Akweke Nwafor Orizu.  He said " Honestly if this is the way people are being Celebrated, you will live your life well. If you saw the way the children where celebrating the man today, you will see that it's good for one to leave a good legacy. He lived a life worthy of emulation. I entered his archives and I saw everything about him because the children still preserved it to his shoes, clothes,shaving stick name it. That was the title of the reaction by Imo PDP via their New Media Office to a supposed statement of debts by respective states in the federation.   Imo State Government has condemned the early morning raising of the home of the President General of Ohanaeze  Ndigbo, Prof George Obiozor by those it described as political bandits. In a statement he personally signed, the state GOVERNOR, Senator Hope Uzodinma regretted that desperate politicians who believe in violence were yet to sheath their swords inspite of repeated appeal to that effect. Uzodinma described the attack on the country home of Prof Obiozor as cowardly and height of desperation. Wife of the out-gone governor of Anambra State, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano today 17th of March 2022 engaged in a fight with Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.  Mrs Obiano who many said came set for a fight had approached Mrs Ojukwu at the front row of the event, where she was seated close to the out-gone governor, Chief Willie Obiano. Imo state  government has fulfilled its pledge to sponsor a  student from the state to any University of her choice after she recorded 9 As in last year's SSSCE examination. The girl, Miss Confidence Chinasa Nwaozuzu from Amuzari in Isiala Mbano LG of the state secured admission to study medicine in Georgia University,Eastern Europe.
