The senator representing Anambara South Senatorial District at the Senate, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has suspended activities leading to his 51st birthday celebration coming up on the 3rd of September 2022. Journalists practicing in Anambra State have called on Gov. Chukwuma Soludo to arrest the poor state of roads in and around the industrial town of Nnewi. The media practitioners under the aegis of the National Link Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Anambra Council made the call in a Communique  issued after their meeting on Aug. 24. The Chapel in the communique signed by Mr Tempest Ude, its chairman, condemned the total neglect of all the roads in Nnewi North inclusive of Federal, State and Local Government roads in the area.  It said the poor state of roads in Nnewi was affecting trade and commercial activities which Nnewi was known for negatively. The Chapel said so much man hour was lost to gridlock while so much money was lost to vehicle maintenance. The members of YPP in Aguata LGA on 28th August 2022 held it's monthly meeting to streamline affairs of the party in the LGA to further create an enabling environment for more vibrant and coordination among party members. Imo state government has dismissed attacks  by some uninformed and misguided elements over the lawful action of Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), against Uche Onyeagocha's lawlessness.  It described the attacks  as uninformed, unwarranted and seditious.
