APGA should be worried about its foreseen relegation instead of jubilating over a purported endorsement

 By Chukwuemerie Uduchukwu    Yesterday, some supporters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), went gaga over a perceived endorsement of Prof. Charles Soludo who claims to be an aspirant of the party by two great sons of Nnewi. In a widely shared short video, the Chief Executive Officer of Ibeto Group, Chief Cletus Ibeto (Omekannaya) and the Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing Company, Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso Nnewi) urged Ndị Anambra to support Soludo who paid a visit to Chief Ibeto at his Nnewi residence. 2023: Abaribe supports Moghalu’s presidential ambition

 Kingsley Moghalu on Monday said that Senate minority leader Eyinnaya Abaribe has endorsed him for the 2023 general elections. Kebbi govt shuts down 7 schools indefinitely

  No fewer than seven schools in Kebbi State had been shut down indefinitely in the aftermath of the attack on Federal Government College, FGC, Birnin Yauri, by suspected bandits, according to Isah Arzika, State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT. Mr Arzika told the News Agency of Nigeria on phone, on Saturday, that those affected were schools located on the frontlines of the areas prone to attacks by suspected bandits. He said that the government had directed all school principals to close any school which they believed were not safe, adding that police and vigilantes had also been deployed to the schools for monitoring and protection. “On these proactive measures, as you all know, we are part of the system.
