MMG sets to empower Youths in Anambra, partners Chinese firm.

An NGO, the Mass Movement for Good Governance(MMG) has concluded plans to empower over 1000 youths in Anambra. This is squeal to a recently signed partnership agreement with HZS Biotechnology International, a Chinese firm based in Lagos Nigeria. The founder and convener of the group, Hon. Chukwuemeka Peter Erobu(Ochiagha)in an interactive session with newsmen in Nnewi stressed that the group is a Non Governmental Organization and a pressure group which has been in existence for the past three years, and the group is presently in 13 states of the federation, and is present in the South South, South East and South West, with the mandate to ensure good governance at all strata of government across board, through the support of candidates with track records over the years.   He said that the group also advocates for the eradication of poverty, inclusiveness of youths in governance, giving meaning to the less privileged ones  in the society and to also help in eradication of unemployment in

INEC Boss Task GOCOP on the spread of fake News.

The National Chairman of Independent electoral commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu has tasked the guild of corporate online publishers (GOCOP) on the need to curb fake news as Nigerians go into the general election in 2023. This is coming at the heels of the 6th annual conference of the guild of corporate online publishers on managing the process for credible out of the 2023 general election held at Sheraton hotel Ikeja Lagos state.    In his address Prof Yakubu Mahmood commended GOCOP for choosing “2023 Elections: Managing the Process for Credible Outcome” as the theme for this year’s conference. This he said is most appropriate for a number of reasons, going by the fact that the 2023 General Election is fast approaching. "It is now 141 days to Election Day. Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Ibeh, the immediate past speaker of the Imo state house of assembly has felicitated the executive governor of Imo state, H.E Senator Hope Uzodinma on behalf of his constituents. He heartily felicitated with His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma on the 62nd Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Igbo Pan Socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Anambra State Chapter, has recognized the Founder, Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF), and Chairman, Chrome Group, Sir (Dr.) Emeka Offor, presenting him with an Award for his contributions towards the eradication of Polio in Nigeria, as well as his numerous humanitarian service to the society.
