Izuchukwu Nwabueze Receives Merit Award From Students of Institute of Theology, Paul University Awka

  Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze has received a Merit Award of " AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST" from the Postulants Students' Union Government of Institute of Theology, Paul University, Awka during the 2021 Presidential Address/ Charge of the President- Post. RECENT KILLINGS IN ANAMBRA: IFEANYI UBAH CALLS FOR CALM

Gov. Buni Receives 11 Anambra Law Makers From PDP, APGA to APC

Office of the Imo State Governor, Youth Affairs, has announced the commencement of an Agro-based Masterclass for Imo youths across the 27 Local Government Areas.  Speaking on this, the Special Adviser to His Excellency on Youth Affairs, Hon. Eric Uwakwe hinted on the engagement of Professionals in the agricultural industry for this all important Masterclass on Agricultural Farming for Imo Youths. Themed One Youth; One Farm, the program is geared towards enriching Imo Youths with necessary skills and exposure to the agricultural industry as a lucrative alternate to economic growth and independence while promoting food security. The training would commence on Monday 4th October and run through Saturday 9th October, 2021 and very much open to all Imo Youths across the state. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) government in Anambra State to prepare her detailed handover note. Group accuses Imo PDP of sabotaging Uzodimma's efforts to recover oil wells

  By Austin Echefu  A sociopolitical group, the Global Association of Concerned Imo Youths, (GACIY) has accused the Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of working with the Rivers State Government to frustrate the efforts being made by the Governor Hope Uzodimma administration in the state to recover 17 Imo oil wells erroneously ceded to Rivers.  The group made the allegation in a press release signed by its convener, Collins Ughalaa, and made available to newsmen in Owerri on Monday, September 27th, 2021.  The government of Imo State had made a formal complaint over the attribution of 17 oil wells situated in communities within the state, particularly those of Oguta LGA, to Rivers State for 20 years.  This led the National Boundary Commission to conduct a boundary review cum demarcation that recently saw the oil wells returned Imo State.  But Rivers State swiftly secured an order from the Supreme Court stopping the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commissi

He added that the State will also be receiving an additional N8 billion monthly from Federal Allocation. The Governor during the Thanksgiving Church Service in commemoration of Nigeria’s 61st Independence Day Celebration at the Government House Chapel, Owerri, disclosed this as he explained the position of the State on the oil wells located in Imo State that were ceded to Rivers State for over 20 years now.  He stated that though the Committee on Boundary Adjustment through boundary demarcation had given back the oil wells to Imo State, the Rivers State Government had taken the matter to the Supreme Court, all in an effort to continue to deny Imo State what belongs to her. IMO STATE GOVERNMENT PARTNERS WITH NEMA

.......DISTRIBUTE RELIEF ITEMS TO FARMERS IN IMO STATE WHO LOST THEIR CROPS TO FLOOD. Imo State Deputy Gov., Prof Placid Njoku, revealed that farmers in Imo state who had their crops destroyed by the flood would receive relief materials from the Imo State government through the National Emergency Management Agency. This decision was made after he inspected the farm inputs brought to the state by NEMA. Prof Njoku stressed that the Shared Prosperity Government of Gov Hope Uzodimma is not leaving anything to chance when providing the agriculture sector in the state with its adequate needs. He concluded his statement by saying Imo state can feed the Nation given the fertile ground of the state. According to the guidelines released for the distribution of the farm, he noted that verified farmers whose farm got flooded would receive compensation soon as tons of farm inputs have already been brought into the state by NEMA.
