CORRUPTION: LIKE GOV OKOROROCHA, LIKE PRESIDENT ZUMA.

J ust last night I watched live on AIT, a most wasteful reception of corrupt President Jacob Zuma of South Africa and Governor Rochas Ethelbert Okorocha of Imo State. Ironically, on the same day the South African Supreme Court had earlier ordered the reinstatement of the corruption charges of money laundering and diversion of contracts against Zuma. President Jacob Zuma has definitely found an ally in Governor Ethelbert Okorocha. Two very corrupt and unpopular rulers from Africa. Imo indigenes know that the visit of Jacob Zuma is of no political, economic or social benefits to Imo people. The visit further adds to the rape of the economy of Imo State with Imo Governor, Ethelbert Okorocha having flown uncountable shuttles in his private jets to South Africa. We know that this visit by Jacob Zuma is another devious round of money laundering by Ethelbert Okorocha taking advantage of the diplomatic baggage of an equally corrupt Jacob. We call on Jacob Zuma to go home and face the cor

PDP Chairmanship: I’m still consulting, South East should get Vice-President in 2019

Media mogul, Raymond Dokpesi, has said that he is still consulting in his bid to run for the national chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the December 9 national convention. The owner of DAAR Communication made this known yesterday in a media chat with journalists in Abuja He maintained that the party has zoned the chairmanship position to the entire South and the race is open to everyone from the region. “The concept and idea of zoning is to ensure that there is fairness and equity in the sharing of party offices. Nigeria to the rescue

I read it at about 3am today, 12th October 2017. It's now about 5am, and I haven't been able to sleep since. So I've decided to write down the thoughts that have kept me awake. Firstly I will give highlights of the article. Then I will comment. Highlights: 1. 90% of the networth of Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, comes from his cement business. 2. Dangote Cement controls 65% of Nigeria's entire cement market. 3. In 2013, Dangote Cement had the highest profit margins of any cement producer on earth - 52%. China's Anhui Cunch Cement came in second - at 17.8%. 4. In 2015, average profit margins of cement producers worldwide was 17.2%. Same 2015, Dangote Cement *reported* a profit of 42.3%. 5. In June 2016, the World Bank reported that cement prices in Africa averaged $9.57 per 50kg bag while the world was paying $3.25 (about one third of what Africans pay) 6. How has Dangote Cement been able to retain such a huge market share at such excessively high p

See Aso Rock clinic budget for 5 years since 2013

On October 9, Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari,  revealed she recently fell sick and against all advice, refused to go to London to receive treatment. Mrs Buhari, while speaking at the stakeholders meeting on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH+N) said that she was recently forced to visit a hospital owned by foreigners when she fell sick. Mrs Buhari, however said when she fell sick, she was advised to go to London for medical attention, but she declined, opting to use the Aso Rock Clinic, unfortunately the necessary equipment were lacking at the clinic designated for the first family. The issue of the poor quality of the State House Medical Centre (SHMC) has raged on Nigerian social media. Former spokesman to Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has chimed in as usual. Below is a Facebook post he made referring to a graphic created by BudgITng: ‪"Less money was budgeted for State House Clinic under Dr. Goodluck Jonatha

PRESS RELEASE   NO DIFFERENCE IN INTELLIGENCE, CAPACITY AND RESOURCEFULNESS BETWEEN A BOY AND A GIRL, SAYS OSINBAJO “In my first year in University, the first person to get a First Class in the Faculty of Law in the University of Lagos was actually a married woman with 4 children.” REMARKS BY THE VICE PRESIDENT FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, HIS EXCELLENCY, PROF. YEMI OSINBAJO, SAN, GCON, WHEN HE RECEVIED GIRL-CHILD ADVOCATES FROM ABUJA SCHOOLS ON THE COMMEMORATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD AT THE STATE HOUSE, WEDNESDAY, 11 OCTOBER 2017 Let me first say that this is really a wonderful idea today in celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child. I think it is a very important way to celebrate it, first to celebrate the great success of Blessing, whom I am told had the best result in the Junior Secondary School Examinations.  I have had a chance to look at the result, she seemed to have gotten As in all of the 18 subjects except one. I think it was 17 As and
