A NEW INDUSTRIALIZED ANAMBRA STATE IS POSSIBLE WITH DR. CHIDOZIE NWANKWO, AAC GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE.

As Governor Obiano led administration winds down; the priority interest and key aspects of Industrialization becomes the talking point round the State especially as the abandoned promise on industrial revolution by the outgoing government remained unkempt, recording no growth. Ndi Anambra are on the look for a helmsman with the requisite experience, and political will to raise the tempo on industrialization to correlate with the GDP development of the State, nicknamed “Light of the Nation”. This is particularly imperative because it will increase the influx of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and impact on the economic growth of the state. Dr. Wilson Chidozie Nwankwo, AAC Gubernatorial Candidate is the man with the much needed blueprint on industrialization and diversification of the State’s economy. He is not a man of endless theorizing, of much talks, but one who believes in vision, strategy and actions. He is resolutely committed to the actualization of an industrial revolution and p

Gov. Uzodimma and the Magic wand.

In spite of disturbances arising from economic down time occasioned by the Covid - 19 pandemic, to Youth restiveness nicknamed, "END SARS PROTESTS" and now the politically motivated insecurity and unrest, in Imo State, the man Uzodimma has not rested on his oars or give excuses and justifications. He went straight to the workshop where Imo was dumped by his predecessors, and has continued to up with strategies to confront the dire needs of the state.  The roads in Imo:- This sector yearned for attention for a very long time but suffered huge neglect by successive administrations but Uzodimma's Midas touch is being felt, currently, as roads in the State are getting a facelift, gradually but steadily.  Civil service:- This sector experienced so much decay and was in a near comatose situation until Gov. Uzodimma arrived. He quickly provided free buses to convey workers to and fro, daily, to ease the burden of transport fare on the workers. The digitalisation of the sector

ANAMBRA 2021: DR. CHIDOZIE NWANKWO’S MASTERPLAN FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN ANAMBRA STATE

Nigeria of today is sitting on a huge keg of unemployment gunpowder that may explode with dire consequences. Already, the effects of this unemployment crisis is manifesting in the form of increased insecurity across the land. Anambra State seems to be at the epicenter currently. This is a huge problem that is of utmost concern to Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Wichtech), the Governorship Candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State.  As a foremost entrepreneur and industrialist sitting on top of a conglomerate called Wichtech, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo fully understands that continuous emphasis on white collar employment will not bridge the huge unemployment gap in Anambra State because there’s simply no enough new white collar vacancies to absorb the thousands of new graduates from tertiary institutions that flood the labour market yearly in Anambra State alone.  The solution is therefore nestled in vocational education. That is why Dr. Chi

TRUE STATE OF NEKEDE / IHIAGWA / OBINZE ROAD

-- as phase one has been completed and commissioned! There has been a misleading publication making rounds and painting the Government of Imo State and President Muhammadu Buhari in bad light with respect to the Nekede / Ihiagwa / Obinze road. For clarity sake, the road in question was awarded in phases and phase one has been completed and commissioned while construction work on the next phase (Phase Two) would commence after the rains and subsequently, the last phase. While the Government feels the hardship and pains experienced by the residents and road users at phases two and three of the road, it's improper and unpatriotic for anyone to falsely propagate that the Nekede / Ihiagwa / Obinze road has not received Government's attention. The reconstruction arm of the 3R Government has continued to improve on the state of our infrastructure and it would touch every corner. #HopeNewAndElectronicMediaCenter

Imo PDP's False Alarm Caused Monday's Stampede in Owerri, GACIY alleges

The panic mood in Owerri on Monday resulted from a false alarm by elements within the Imo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Global Association of Concerned Imo Youths (GACIY) has alleged.  There was a rumored presence of unknown gunmen in Owerri and news that gunshots were heard at some parts of the capital spread like wildfire between the hours of 11 and 12.  This caused residents to scamper for safety. Some businesses shut down while most public schools released their pupils and students. But GACIY in a statement on Tuesday said the alarm was false and blamed the opposition party for spreading it, an action, according to the group, put both the young and the old in harm's way.  Part of the statement signed by the group's convener, Collins Ughalaa, read: "We resolutely condemn the false alarm raised by elements of Imo PDP which threw Owerri into a stampede, mass hysteria, and panic around midday Monday Oct 4, 2021. "By spreading fake news tha

My Thoughts on the Situation in Southeast Nigeria

By Kingsley Moghalu  I was a child during the Nigerian Civil War but I have good memories of the destruction and death from the war itself and the death from kwashiokor of at least a million children who died of starvation. I remember the death of my uncle Godson, my father's youngest brother and a Biafran soldier, and the wailing anguish of my now late grandmother at his funeral. The lives and futures of so many brilliant young men and women wasted in a conflict not of their making.  Till tomorrow, I continue to believe that Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu's violent coup of January 1966 (which ultimately failed as it was suppressed) was a wrong move, because that's what started the violent phase of the Nigerian crisis (there was a political crisis already). But I believe Nzeogwu and his co-conspirators from various ethnic groups in our country acted alone. No one sent sent them, let alone Ndigbo. They were simply hot-headed and misguided soldiers in a time in Africa when the milita

GROUP ASKS IMO PDP TO STOP THE SPREAD OF FAKE NEWS

A Non Governmental Association Group, Forum For Democractic Advocacy has stressed the need for Imo PDP to be called to order in the dissemination of fake news in the state. In a press release made avaliable to newsmen in Owerri, the group said that "the need has arisen for us to call to order Imo state PDP, to desist from their culture of hawking fake news and creating undue tension in the state.   The release further went on to state that "we are aware that IMO PDP has been sponsoring information that IPOB has been harming people and destroying life’s and properties in imo state."   "The aim of this fake news is to make imo state seem ungovernable and at war.  IMO PDP wants Nigerians to feel that this current state administration is to blame for the agitations of IPOB and hence IPOB is particularly aggrevied at imolites."  The group however maintained that it's instructive for them to dispel this narrative as it is dangerous for the peace and tranquility o
