Victims of demolished Eke Ukwu market blast Okorocha

- Hails Uzodimma for building a modern market VICTIMS of the tyranny of the administration of Senator Rochas Okorocha, who demolished the ancestral Eke Ukwu Market, including the father of the late Somto, have expressed their gratitude to governor Hope Uzodimma for rebuilding the market with state of the art facilities. Ifeanyi Ubah attends installation of new Bishop of Nnewi Catholic Diocese

~ Calls For Protection Of Christian Values By The Church. The industrial town of Nnewi was agog  yesterday as the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi installed a new bishop with 115 Catholic parishes in Nnewi were present to formally witness the installation of the new catholic bishop of the diocese, after the retirement of the bishop emeritus Most Rev Hilary- Paul Odili Okeke.  The event which kicked off with a homily by the apostolic nunciature, His Eminence Antonio Guido Filipazzi, had 47 bishops in attendance led by the president of the Catholic Bishops Council Of Nigeria (CBCN), Most Rev. Augustine Akubueze. It's worthy of note that the charismatic bishop emeritus, Most Rev. Hillary Okeke (Nna Ora), served as the Pioneer bishop of the diocese for 20 years since the 10th of February 2002, one year after it's creation in 2001. Gov. Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has distinguished himself as a leader

  As he continue to allow his humane nature precede him despite his exalted position. It was surprising and an a scenario that has left me and so many others in awe as Gov. Hope Uzodimma warmly embraced Sen. Rochas Okorocha, a former Governor of Imo State who has always called out the incumbent as witch-hunting him. The event today at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel Abuja, saw the Governor of Imo state as one of the early callers and when Rochas Okorocha came into the event, the smile and pleasantries extended to him by Gov. Hope Uzodimma ultimately shows that despite the Governor has his job to do, his human nature will always see Rochas Okorocha as a friend and brother. I heard Rochas Say :See my brother oh, I am your brother oh. Governor Uzodinma hailed him "Owelle " then hugged him.

HON. MACDONALD EBERE TAKES THE MESSAGE OF CHANGE AND SHARED PROSPERITY TO OBOWO LGA.

MAN BAGS 3 YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR VANDALIZING EEDC PROPERTY

A 22-year-old-man identified as Ifeanyi Ugwu was last week, at the Federal High Court 1, Awka, Anambra State sentenced to 3 years imprisonment without option of fine by Hon. Justice H.A. Nganjiwa for vandalizing Aniawonwa 300KVA Transformer located at Eziama Village, Ojoto, Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, property of the Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC).   This was made known in a statement issued today by the Head of Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh.   Ezeh recounted that the vandal, a native of Nsukka in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, was arraigned on a two-count charge at the Federal High Court 1, Awka, Anambra State on the 12th of January, 2022 with Charge No.FHC/AWK/C/54/2021, and was subsequently remanded at the Federal Correctional Center, Awka, after case was adjourned to the 3rd of February, 2022 for review of his plea for leniency.   After passing the judgement, the presiding judge cautioned the convict to desist from

APC RECONCILE PARTIES AHEAD OF THE AMAC ELECTION

In a bid to foster unity and promote peace in the one big family of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the leadership of the party has successfully reconciled and united all their members in the Amac area council  ahead of the February 2022 Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC). His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma, who Chairs the Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for the Abuja Municipal Area Council Election, 2022, mediated the unprecedented reconciliation between the party's aspirants to the office of the Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) as well as four councillorship aspirants.   According to the secretary of the campaign council of the Apc this move has not only  strengthen the  APC ahead of the election billed to hold on saturday but also shows that internal democracy is alive in the party.

Uzodimma Not Responsible for Insecurity in Imo State - PDP

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has on Sunday 6th of February 2022, declared that the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma is not responsible for the insecurity bedeviling development and growth in the State.
