The governor of Anambra state Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo on Saturday  announced through his Facebook page that he has visited the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu to felicitate with him.   " I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, (Friday, 13th May, 2022) to felicitate with him and also as part of the wider consultations with critical stakeholders in search of lasting peace and security in the South East.  He was in very high spirits and we had quality and frank discussion in a very convivial atmosphere. Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has made a clarion call on Ndi Anambra in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja to support and partner with his government to take back Anambra State from criminal elements. Governor Soludo made the call during a dinner session with Ndi Anambra resident in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Dame Irene Okwuosa memorial hospital, a world class medical facility was on the 12th of May 2022 officially opened to the general public by the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation (SEOF) with support from the Voom Foundation USA.  In the his welcome address, Sir Emeka Okwuosa said that the hospital was built to the glory of God and in memory of his late mother, Dame Irene Nneka Okwuosa, who as a teacher was loved by many because of her and care gor people around her when she was alive.   The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) has called on motorists to exercise caution while driving on the highways, especially as we have entered the rainy season, where visibility is usually poor once it’s raining.
