The newly sworn in national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has expressed apprehension and uncertainty about the party’s return to power in 2019, saying it is going to be herculean a task. Time and again we have seen individuals, companies and even civil societies give awards and accolades to very corrupt members of the Nigerian political class, past leaders who have milked dry the breasts of our country for their selfish benefits, and high ranking members of the public service who have done nothing but collect unearned salaries and contribute to the decay in the civil service.
