Gov Soludo Appoints Ifeanyi Ubah’s Former Director, commissioner for Industry

  The governor of Anambra state Prof Charles Soludo has appointed Mr Christian Chukwudozie Udechukwu former director of Diaspora and  Head,Media and Public Communications of the Transformation Ambassadors Of Nigeria(TAN),as the New Commissioner For Industry replacing Dr Obinna Ngonadi.  This appointment of Mr Chukwudozie Udechukwu sets a brand new tone in the economic renaissance of the industrial sector in Anambra State. Mr Christian Udechukwu is an economist and former delegate to the defunct 2014 National Conference.  His appointment was announced earlier today in a press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, Mr. Christian Aburime says he replaces Dr. Obinna Ngonadi who previously held forth in that position. Following the new appointment, Mr. Christian Chukwudozie Udechukwu's name has been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

Imo state government decry the killing of Dominion Chisom Ugochukwu, by an NSCDC officer

The Government of Imo State is saddened by the death on Monday, April 17th, of a 15 month old baby, Master Dominion Chisom Ugochukwu. Information reaching Government suggests that the baby who was strapped at the back of the mother was killed by a stray bullet allegedly fired by an officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC). Government completely deplores the killing of such an innocent baby, the circumstances notwithstanding. Our heart  therefore  goes to the parents of the baby, especially the mother who alone understands the pains of such a tragic and monumental loss. ICAPS staff commend New SA, extoll his leadership qualities

  The staff of Imo college of advanced professional studies (ICAPS) has extolled the leadership qualities of Hon. Pastor Chika Emedo for his forthrightness in handling the affairs of the government agency in less than two months of resuming duty as the Special Adviser to the governor of the agency. IMO GOVERNMENT ENDORSES THE CHOICE OF IWUANYANWU AS PRESIDENT OF OHANEZE NDI IGBO

  The Government of Imo State has endorsed the Imo State Council of Elders choice of Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu for the President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo. Governor Hope Uzodimma made the endorsement when he received the Imo State Council of Elders today, at the Exco Chambers, who came to present their resolution for the adoption and implementation of Charter of Equity in political positions across the State. Imo Elders adopt charter of Equity for political offices

  Endorse Uzodimma for 2nd tenure In a historic move to engender peace and stability in Imo , the state"s Elders' Council has adopted a Charter of Equity for the rotation of key political offices among the three Senatorial zones. Notable among these offices are those of the governor, deputy governor and speaker of House of Assembly. Consequently, the Council has endorsed Gov Hope Uzodimma for a second tenure, saying that apart from the fact that he has performed creditably, his zone , Orlu should be allowed to complete its term of eight years. ExxonMobil Declares Force Majeure On Crude Oil Lifting In Nigeria

American oil major, ExxonMobil has declared force majeure on oil lifting from several ports in Nigeria. This follows reported industrial action by the company’s in-house workers union, the company said, in a statement yesterday. This will however lead to another set back to the country which is a member of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and had lost its status as Africa’s top oil producer last year when businesses such as Shell Plc and TotalEnergies began to reduce their investment due to extensive corruption and security concerns. ExxonMobil has been trying to sell $1.2 billion in shallow-water assets in challenging Nigeria, the company told Reuters in February, while keeping deep-water assets further from the coast.
