Election Seamless, Peaceful- Peter Obi

  Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has said that voting process was peaceful and seamless, based on his observation, and based on situation reports. He made the declaration while speaking with newsmen on Saturday, February 25, when he cast his vote at  his polling unit 019, Agulu Ward 2, in Anaocha local government council of Anambra State at  about 11.45am. Obi commended  the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for their strides in providing needed logistics; as well as security official and the people of Nigeria for ensuring a peaceful exercise. He said, "With what I have seen here today, the election is seamless and peaceful; but I don't know of any other place. I hope it would be the same in other places across Nigeria." He expressed confidence that  he would  win the presidential election; being the most qualified and competent person to lead the country; adding that he has the capacity and mental ability to lead the country.

2023 Elections: Tinubu Votes In Lagos, Says ‘I’m Too Confident Of Victory.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has cast his vote at a polling unit in Bourdillion, Ikoyi, Lagos State. The police in conjunction with the military in Anambra state today in the fight against terror killed three gunmen and also arrested 2 suspects.   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has denied raiding the home of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate Sen. Bola Tinubu. EFCC’s Spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, said the claim of raiding the home of the former governor of Lagos State by the commission was not true. “The attention of the EFCC has been drawn to a report circulating in the social media, claiming that operatives of the Commission raided the home of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, standard-bearer of APC, in the forthcoming presidential election and recovered a humongous sum of N400 billion. “The Commission wishes to state that no such operation was carried out by the EFCC. “The public is enjoined to disregard the report as fake news,” he said.

Police Demoblize 5 Hoodlums, foil attack on Police Facility in Anambra
