PDP Suspends Anambra State Congress …Extends Sale of Forms

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended its Anambra State Congress which was earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, April 2, 2022 to elect new State Executive Officers for the Party in Anambra State,  A new date for the PDP Anambra State Congress will be communicated as soon as it is decided. Meanwhile the sale of Forms for the Anambra State Congress has been extended. A new date for the closure of the sale of Form will also be communicated. The PDP regrets the inconveniences the announced suspension of the Anambra State PDP Congress may have caused.

Nwajiuba commissions Avu National Housing Project.

The Honorable Minister of State Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba HCN today represented the President at the commissioning of the National Housing Project at Avu, Imo State. While giving his speech, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba expressed his delight that one of the projects of the President Muhammad Buhari led government to provide affordable houses for citizens has finally been completed and available for use, while appreciating the Imo State Government and the Avu community for providing the land. It was also a day of delight for some players of the Super Eagles of 1994 who won the 1994 African Cup of Nations as the government fulfilled its promise of gifting them houses. The Honorable used the medium to appeal to citizens of Nigeria to show patriotism in every given opportunity and capacity available.

Nigeria Not Fair To The Igbo –Ebube Muonso

  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, has called on Nigerians to give Igbo of the Southeast extraction an opportunity to have a shot on the presidency in 2023. The vocal cleric, who is also the Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, and the Parish Priest of Blessed Iwene Tansi Parish and Retreat Center, Umudioka, both in Anambra State, claimed that Nigeria has shut the door of the presidency, and has not allowed Igbo to produce elected president since inception. Nwajiuba to Nigeria, a vision whose time has come.

The uphill task of who becomes the next President of Nigeria after President Muhammadu Buhari, has started with the successful National Convention of the All Progressive Congress,(APC)  which is the ruling party in the country today.  All the hearsays of possible implosion, balcanization, destruction and rumours of possible end of the party have all come to nullity. The APC came out stronger with the drive and intent to remain in power.  Hon.
