IMO APC Leadership Dabacle: The true position

  There are chatters about the party's position on the leadership of the Apc in Imo State inspite of the Clarification by the National publicity secretary of the party Mr Felix Mouka. To this end I have taken the pain to get the decision of the Supreme Court, let us even see what the court really said about this case. In the lead judgment on this case delivered by Justice Adamu Jauro and supported by other justices of the Supreme Court, the court held that the case by Mr Nwafor and his Co-travellers amount to " FORUM SHOPPING AND GROSS ABUSE OF COURT PROCESSES " It Further held that the Court of first instance sitting in Abuja  erred by assuming jurisdiction in a matter which did not happen within its jurisdiction (Abuja) but Imo State. SOLUDO CANVASSES INTERNATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR ANAMBRA.

APC NWC AFFIRMS MACDONALD EBERE LED SWC

The National Working Committee of the APC led by Sen. FOUR SUSPECTED VANDALS APPREHENDED FOR VANDALIZING EEDC INSTALLATIONS.

  A young man identified as Wisdom Kalu Onu, an indigene of Abia State was apprehended yesterday by the security personnel of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, for vandalizing electrical installations located within the Campus premises, belonging to the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC). The Head of Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, who made this known today in Enugu confirmed that the suspect, along with the vandalized materials have been handed over to Nsukka Urban Police Station for proper investigation and possible prosecution. UZODIMMA BEGINS RURAL ROAD CONSTRUCTION IN IMO STATE

In line with his administration’s resolve to ensure rural roads receives government attention through quality road construction, the shared prosperity government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma begins rural road construction in Imo State as 15% construction fee has been paid to the contractors. These roads no doubt are of both economic and social importance to rural dwellers and when completed will serve as a link to the state capital which will further enhance development and quality transformation as well as bring the government closer to the people.

Senator Ike Ekweremadu, after days of studied silence, the former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, has finally narrated his own side of the story about how himself and wife, Beatrice, got into trouble courtesy of David Nwamini Ukpo, the young man they contracted to provide a kidney for their ailing daughter, Sonia Ekweremadu. UZODIMMA FELICITATES ARIWOOLA AS THE AG CJN

Imo State Governor Sen. Hope Uzodimma has extended his warm Felicitation to the Hon Justice Olukayode Ariwoola on his appointment and swearing in as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria. In a statement personally signed by him on Tuesday, the Governor noted that with more than 11 years at the Supreme Court and judicial experience that tranversed Lagos, Enugu and Kaduna Divisions of the Appeal Court, the new Chief Justice was "tailor-made for the job". Uzodimma added that Nigerians were indeed looking forward to a more robust and responsive judiciary that will sustain the gains of democracy under the leadership of Justice Ariwoola. BANK OF INDUSTRY(BOI) WRITES IMO STATE GOVERNMENT, DEMANDS REVOKING LANDS IlLEGALLY OWNED BY MIKE IKEOKU

  The Bank of Industry(BOI) has written to the Imo State Government to immediately revoke the ownership of lands illegally acquired by Mr. Mike Ikeoku within 2009 and 2010 as they were obtained under false pretence and identity. According to the information contained in the message by the Industrial bank, it is said that the land under the false ownership of Mike Ikeoku was facilitated by the bank for the state government and so is a property of the state government which is for agricultural practices for the development of the state. The bank lamented that the said lands were bought through unscrupulous means and frowned that the previous administration in the state failed to take ownership of the lands and utilise the goodwill of the bank in bringing development through the agricultural sector but choose to allow the individual personalise a public property. BOI therefore appeals to the Imo State Government under the administration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma to quickly reclaim these lands
