Global Peace and sustainability Network condemns the killing of a youth by Police in Otoko

The above mentioned organization in a press release referenced,  GPSN/OF/107/19 4th July, 2019  Condemned in strong terms the killing of extra judicial killing and destruction of  Otoko Police station in Umuoke Obowo. Global Peace and Sustainability Network (GPSN), an advocacy organization anchored on actualizing peace through community participation and involvement have received a disturbing report of the face-off between some youths and the police at Otoko police station in Obowo LGA as a result of the alleged killing of a youth by the police hereby state as follows: 1. Condemn the killing of a youth in his prime by the alleged killer cop. 2. Chief John Onedibe commend Chief Willie Obiano for enhancing security in Anambra.

The National President of Motorcycle Transport Union of Nigeria, Chief John Onedibe has commended the efforts of Chief Willie Obiano the governor of Anambra state, whom he described as a pillar in the security of lives and property in the state. He made this known yesterday at his country home in Nnewi, while granting interview with newsmen. He said, governor Obiano over the years have shown that security of lives and property is Paramount to the growth and development of any community.
