Give us Govs ,Badaru Elrufai Prof Zulum, Anambra APC insists it

The APC in Anambra state is asking that they be given Govs Badaru, El Rufia, Prof Zulum or be given a man of impeccable character as chairman and members of Anambra state APC primary election committee of 2021... Hon Jideofor Ejimofor has petitioned the presidency and nwc in that direction and is insisting that the yet to be innaugurated nominated members are already compromised as innauguration has been suspended pending when a proper and new committee members are appointed and innaugurated Hon Jideofor Ejimofor insists that only a credible primary election will save APC from disintegrating. He called on the Presidency to look into the issues raised and address them accordingly.

APGA Primaries: Journalists bared from covering Primaries.

The last has not been heard of the supposed Primary Election of the ruling APGA in Anambra state. There is palpable fear from the government and this has made them to refuse all Journalists including TVC, Channels, and all major daliy newspapers in the country from covering the event.  The NUJ Chairman in the state Comrade Emma Ifesinachi when contacted to speak on this was however dismayed that the ruling party in the state could take such decision, even against the backdrop of the several issues bedeliving the party in the state.  Many of the Journalists who spoke to Nigerian Notch, where however not happy about the insult melted out to them. They however wondered what they are hiding from them.

INEC introduce partial online registration

  The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the introduction of a portal to enable eligible Nigerians register as voters online before completing the exercise physically at designated centres nationwide. The portal was designed by INEC engineers and produced overseas. The commission is projecting to register 20 million new voters before the end of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR). INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said this was the first time voter registration was being handled partially online. Yakubu, who spoke at a quarterly meeting with media organisations, said the innovation is consistent with the “commission’s commitment to continue to deepen the use of technology in the electoral process in Nigeria”. Nwajiuba receives Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, renews commiment to maintain bilateral ties.

The Honorable Minister of State Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba today received the Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E Yanko Yordanov. The visit is coming at the heels on a strong bilateral ties with the Bulgarian Goverment in relation to educational prospects between the two countries. The visit however was to discuss the Bilateral relationship between the two countries especially in the area of Education. Nigeria and Bulgaria already has bilateral scholarship agreement between the two countries. At the end of the meeting, there was a renewed commitment from both countries towards maintaining the cordial relationship between both countries especially in the aspect of Education.  Also in attendance was the Director Tertiary,  Federal Ministry of Education,  Hajia Rakiya Iliyasu and the Director, Federal Scholarship Board, Mrs Asta Ndajiwo.

ANAMBRA APC HAS RISEN, NEVER TO FALL AGAIN DR CHIDOZIE NWANKWO.

APGA should be worried about its foreseen relegation instead of jubilating over a purported endorsement

 By Chukwuemerie Uduchukwu    Yesterday, some supporters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), went gaga over a perceived endorsement of Prof. Charles Soludo who claims to be an aspirant of the party by two great sons of Nnewi. In a widely shared short video, the Chief Executive Officer of Ibeto Group, Chief Cletus Ibeto (Omekannaya) and the Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing Company, Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Ifediaso Nnewi) urged Ndị Anambra to support Soludo who paid a visit to Chief Ibeto at his Nnewi residence. Also in the video, the Innoson boss said that as long as Chief Ibeto supports Soludo, ‘they’ will also support him.   A close look at the video showed that the two great sons of Nnewi only gave their political blessings to Soludo which is normal in politics where stakeholders always wish aspirants who visit them well. Also, the funny part of the purported endorsement is that the Innoson boss made it clear that his own support for h
