Most of the unprovoked attacks are not based on issues of governance but on political party differences. Governor Uzodimma known to be reserved and with measured with his words, has continually refused to join many other politicians in the country  to trade banters in the media.  Known to make appearences or statements only after perfecting plans and arrangements for any endeavour, Gov. Uzodimma has continued to shame his detractors with his approach to issues.  Sincerely, it is counterintuitive to expect an emperor to be happy with the strongman and tactician who took away 43 oil wells from him. The much anticipated Ngor Okpala State Constituency by-election has been effectively concluded following the official declaration of Amajironwu Blyden Okanni of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the winner of the election. The defeat of the Peoples Democratic Party according to political pundits puts paid to the lingering popularity contest in Imo State and consolidates the position of the APC as the Party of choice of Imo people. The Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Rabiu Hussaini is personally monitoring the ongoing Imo State by-election holding in Ngor Okpala. CP Rabiu was seen by Wazobia Politics in a convoy of police officers driving slowly and monitoring compliance of his men who are strategically placed at parts of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area to provide security for the election. But for a reported incident of failed ballot snatching at about 10:25am in unit 2 of Umueche Ward by thugs led by one Mark Alfred, a known member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and popularly known as ‘Reality’, the election has been largely incident free. The By-Election to fill the vacant Ngor Okpala State Constituency seat at the Imo State House of Assembly began as scheduled at 8am across the constituency. The early voting is credited to the early arrival of election materials by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
