THE INTER-AGENCY COLLABORATION IS WORKING IN IMO STATE - GOV. UZODIMMA

Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma attributed the great success in the State's Security system to the inter-agency collaboration among the various security agencies in the State. The Governor made this disclosure at the opening ceremony of the ongoing Army Day Celebration 2022 holding in Owerri, Imo State.  Governor Uzodimma used the opportunity to advocate for more collaborative partnerships between Nigeria's security forces for greater productivity in the fight against insecurity and criminality. On his part, Prof. Osita M. Ogbu (OON) the Guest Speaker at the event extensively x-rayed the subject of "Curbing Insecurity In Nigeria and the Imperative of Inter-security Agency collaboration and Coordination." UZODIMMA APPOINTS ENGR NZEWODO FRANKLIN NKEMAKOLAM AS THE GENERAL MANAGER OF IMO ENTRACO

The Governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodimma has appointed Engr. Nzewodo Franklin Nkemakolam as the General Manager of Imo ENTRACO. Engr. Nzewodo who hails from Amawom in Owerri Municipal Council is an engineer by training and of proven repute. Over the years he has distinguished himself in the profession as one who is poised towards bringing an enviable change in both architectural and environmental aesthetics of the state. Achievers Award: Imo Speaker Emerges Most Proactive Speaker of The Year.

The Speaker Imo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibeh has emerged "Most Proactive Speaker" of the year 2022 at the just concluded online Achievers Award voting, organized by a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Arise Africa Network of Nigeria Ibeh scored 12,800 votes to emerge winner of the contest against the runner-up the Speaker of Bauchi Rt Hon Abubakar Suliman who got 6, 250 votes, while the Speaker of Enugu State Assembly , Rt Hon Edward Ubosi came 3rd with 4, 450 votes. Vandal Suspect Electrocuted in Okija, Anambra State

  A yet to be identified vandal suspect was electrocuted in the early hours of today, Sunday, 3rd July, 2022, while vandalising Umuezerimpi 500KVA Distribution Substation, property of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC), located at Umuatuegwu Okija, Anambra State.  This development was made known by the Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, in Enugu, today.  According to Ezeh, the deceased was not operating alone, as other members of his gang took to their heels immediately he was electrocuted, leaving behind his lifeless body and their tools at the scene of the incident.  Ezeh confirmed that a formal report on this development has been lodged at the Okija Police Division, for detailed investigation.  The tools used by the elecrocuted vandal and his fleeing colleagues were also recovered and his corpse deposited at the Okija General Hospital Mortuary.  This is coming just few days after EEDC issued a report on four suspected vandals who were apprehende

IMO APC Leadership Dabacle: The true position

  There are chatters about the party's position on the leadership of the Apc in Imo State inspite of the Clarification by the National publicity secretary of the party Mr Felix Mouka. To this end I have taken the pain to get the decision of the Supreme Court, let us even see what the court really said about this case. In the lead judgment on this case delivered by Justice Adamu Jauro and supported by other justices of the Supreme Court, the court held that the case by Mr Nwafor and his Co-travellers amount to " FORUM SHOPPING AND GROSS ABUSE OF COURT PROCESSES " It Further held that the Court of first instance sitting in Abuja  erred by assuming jurisdiction in a matter which did not happen within its jurisdiction (Abuja) but Imo State. SOLUDO CANVASSES INTERNATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR ANAMBRA.
