Achievers Award: Imo Speaker Emerges Most Proactive Speaker of The Year.



The Speaker Imo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibeh has emerged "Most Proactive Speaker" of the year 2022 at the just concluded online Achievers Award voting, organized by a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Arise Africa Network of Nigeria


Ibeh scored 12,800 votes to emerge winner of the contest against the runner-up the Speaker of Bauchi Rt Hon Abubakar Suliman who got 6, 250 votes, while the Speaker of Enugu State Assembly , Rt Hon Edward Ubosi came 3rd with 4, 450 votes.


The Achievers Award is an annual award powered by Arise Africa Magazine, a global recognized accolade event aimed at celebrating and encouraging excellence in Politics, Sports, Business, Academics etc.


The Arise Africa Magazine team recently visited the Speaker Imo State House of Assembly to notify and congratulate him for emerging winner of the global award.


The group stated that Rt Hon Kennedy Ibeh has been inspiring and impacting the society positively before his foray into politics, he posseses a good track record in the area of value creation and human capital development. It's therefore not surprising his emergence as Most Proactive Speaker via an online voting poll.


The Publisher of Arise Africa, Mr Ikechukwu Anyanwu also described him as a down to earth Lawmaker who is interested in people irrespective of their status or class.


Anyanwu applauded him for his proactive legislative prowess, vision, enterprise, giant contributions towards youths empowerment and delighted to unveil Rt Hon Barr Kennedy Ibeh, Speaker IMHA as Most Proactive Speaker of The Year. 


The success story of young Rt Hon Ibeh as Imo Speaker is both refreshing and scintillating. 


No wonder he is called Nke Nke Enyi Na Achiko Igwe Enyi. He is like the proverbial Elephant that was touched by blind men. Each one had a different description of what they touched. He is many things to many people.


He is accessible, humane, God fearing. His love for humanity is unfathomable. 


Through hardwork and abiding faith in God, he has been able to achieve a lot in changing the narratives in Imo State House of Assembly.



The Executive, Judiciary and Legislative arms of Government has experienced stability under his watch, accelerated hearing on matters of public importance, human oriented bills to enhance the quality of life of Imolites. 


Rt Hon Speaker has invested so much in human capital development. He hosted the Lawmakers to a training workshop immediately he became the speaker in Nov 8th 2021. 


The Rt Honourable Speaker will soon be decorated with the award alongside other winners from different walks of life at the 8th edition of Arise Africa Achievers Awards

Tinubu Appoints Chioma Awuzie Substantive Rector, Fed Poly Oko

Federal Polytechnic Oko Holds Two-Day Recruitment Interview to Address Staff Shortages

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has begun a two-day interview exercise aimed at recruiting qualified personnel to fill vacant positions arising from staff retirements and other forms of exit from service. The exercise commenced on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and is being overseen by the Rector, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, who personally announced the names of shortlisted candidates.
