Ibeto facilitates reconciliation at Okpuno Ebenator

  ~ As he registers with the community. Okpuno Ebenator in Uruagu community of Nnewi was agog on Saturday as the age long disagreement which has raged on for years, which almost teared the community apart was settled through the facilitation of Dr Cletus Ibeto( Omekannaya) the CEO of Ibeto Group. Okpuno Ebenator community for over 80 years has remained in logger heads over issues that remained unresolved, untill Dr Cletus Ibeto came to the rescue. His resolve was to ensure that peace reigns in his own ancestry community, as he used the peace and reconciliation process to register with his ancestry background, which the community has longed for, all these years. While interacting with newsmen, Dr Cletus Ibeto said that he should now be addressed as an Indigene of Okpuno Ebenator community living in Otolo Nnewi community, and asked that his house in Otolo should be regarded as if it's in Okpuno Ebenator community by extension.  He thanked Hon. Ohanaeze Ndigbo condemns attack on Uzodinma’s House

Prof. George Obiozor, PresidentGeneral, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, on Saturday condemned in strong terms the attack at the country home of Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State,which he termed as evil and abomination. Imo North Senatorial Election: Ibezim gets INEC Certificate of Return

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), today Apirl 23rd Friday, issued Sir Frank Ibezim with Certificate of Return, which has inturn brought an end to the prolonged political battle of sorts in Okigwe zone on who represents Imo North Senatorial District in the Ninth Senate.The Supreme Court, on Friday, April 16, affirmed Ibezim as the authentic candidate of the APC, the winning party in the December 5, by-election last year. Sir Frank Ibezim and others have in the past months engaged in fierce legal battle with Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume on who takes the vacated seat at the Red Chamber by the late Sen. Ben Uwajimogu. Nigeria, North Korea to form joint committee on STI — Minister

Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of Science and Technology, says forming a Joint Committee between Nigeria and the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea will enhance Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) between both countries. The minister said this when Amb. Jon Tong, Ambassador of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea to Nigeria, paid him a courtesy visit on Tuesday in Abuja. He noted that with the joint committee, the bilateral relationship between the two countries would further be strengthened.
