I Will Sign Restructuring Bill If Passed - Buhari

  President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, June 24, said he would not hesitate to give assent to any amendments to the 1999 Constitution on restructuring. He spoke when the National Executive of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), led by Prof Benjamin Okaba, visited him at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. On calls for restructuring, the President noted that the National Assembly, whose responsibility it is to amend the constitution, had concluded regional consultations. “As soon as they finalise the process, necessary action would not be delayed on my part,” he said. Meanwhile, this was unlike what he said at the weekend in a message at the Kudirat Abiola Sabon Gari Peace Foundation in Zaria, Kaduna State. 15,000 Imo Youths, to access Grants of N4B from Uzodinma.

By Kennedy Ibekwe Imo Youths have never had it this good, as history will be made tomorrow being Saturday the 26th of June 2021, where Imo youths from across the 27 LGAs of the state will be given seed capital to go into the various businesses and trade they have acquired at the ministry of Entrepreneurship and skills Acquisition, under the office of the SA Youth Affairs.  The 15,000 Youths drawn from across the state will be empowered with grants of N250,000 each, which will help them in their chosen area of trade or venture.  This grant for Imo Youths from the state government, is coming at a time when the youths in the state are graudally coming together to appreciate the need for hard work and perseverance, which the state government under Senator Hope Uzodinma is noted for, being reason, they were brought together under the ministry of Entrepreneurship and skills Acquisition to acquire skills that will ensure that the funds they get, are channeled into positive ventures for econom

The Honorable Minister of State for Education,  Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba yesterday was the guest speaker at the National Youth Congress Lecture with the theme: Nigerian Democratic System and Good Governance; the Journey so Far.  In his keynote address at the lecture, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba stated that the theme was not only current, but is also thought provoking.
