OZIGBO WINS AS SUPREME COURT DECLARES HIM AUTHENTIC PDP CANDIDATE

Valentine Ozigbo, the flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has secured another victory as the Supreme Court of Nigeria declares him the authentic candidate of the party for the November 6 election.  The apex court, in a judgement delivered at the Supreme Court Complex in Abuja on Thursday, October 21, 2021 threw out all the challenges to Ozigbo's candidacy and awarded a damage of N5 million against "meddlesome interloper" Senator Ugochukwu Uba.  The panel of justices, led by His Lordship, Justice Inyang Okoro affirmed the decision of the Court of Appeal Awka Division delivered on September 3, 2021, which declared him the authentic governorship candidate of the PDP.  Mr Ozigbo was present at the Supreme Court along with former Governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi, and Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe. The political heavyweight and the team of lawyers who handled this case are currently addressing the press at the court.

SHOCKER!! IHEDIOHA MAKES U-TURN, SUBMITS TO SAM DADDY, LABELS IMO PDP FIFTH COLUMNISTS

Unable to reverse it, former PDP governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has accepted the sole nomination of Sen. Samuel Anyanwu (Sam Daddy) for the post of National Secretary in the party's October 30/31 national convention. The former lawmaker also lambasted overzealous supporters for writing against the nomination describing them as "fifth columnists". In a statement, 5 days after the nomination, media aide Chibuike Onyeukwu said Ihedioha had come to accept the decision taken by party stakeholders in the zone and had reached out to Sam Daddy to be carried along.   The Governorship Candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose), has sympathised with the good people of Ihiala over the unfortunate fire that gutted the Nkwo Ogbe market in Ihiala on Sunday afternoon. Dr. Nwankwo in his consoling message said he was deeply shocked by the unfortunate fire incident that led to the loss of goods, market stalls and buildings worth millions of Naira. He, however expressed gratitude to God that no life was lost.
