Civil rights advocacy group, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, (HURIWA) on Wednesday, condemned the gruesome murder of an indigene of Adamawa State, Harira Jibril, and her four kids by gunmen in Anambra State. HURIWA also condemned the rash of killings by ISAP of 50 young boys in Ran Borno state and 12 persons in Katsina by Fulani terrorists. The Rights group said the patience of Nigerians is running out with the current patently incompetent Federal government. Our attention has been drawn to a mischievous  20-point agenda circulating on some social media handles, authored by one Choco Nwaigbo esq, who also appropriated to himself, the position of Special Remote Adviser to the governor on security matter. The 20-point agenda purportedly tagged "Soludo Solution" is a fictitious write-up that was not authorised or emanated from Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo or any of the government agencies. It is purely a figment of the author's imagination and certainly not from the Government of Anambra State. There are designated  channels for any information from the government meant for the public. The public is kindly advised to disregard the said 20-point agenda as a fake write-up.

The former chairman of Nnewi South Local Goverment Area, Apostle Romanus Okoli has passionately appealed to the abductors of Ukpor based politician, Uzozie Chukwujekwu to release him immediately. The appeal was contained in a press release signed by the former LGA chairman made available to journalists on Sunday. A large number of gunmem in the early hours of Saturday swooped on Umudiji Umuohama village Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Goverment Area of Anambra State. A Special Adviser to the former chairman of Nnewi South council area, Hon. Uzozie Chukwujekwu was abducted from his house and his only son was shot in the stomach. The abducted person is a member of St Andrew's Church Umuohama Ukpor. A source who pleaded for anonymity said that the incident happened around 12 midnight noting that the rampaging gunmem shot their way into the compound. He claimed that the gunmem were enraged because Hon Chukwujekwu did not willingly open the gate for them until they forced their way into the family compound. The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has told the people of the state not to panic over gunmen’s threat to attack local government areas in the state. Soludo described the “anonymous” letter as a tool intended to create tension and fear among the peace loving people of the state.
