VALENTINE OZIGBO DECLARES NIGERIA AS THE HOPE FOR AFRICA'S FUTURE AS HE WINS FOCUS AFRICA AWARD FOR SERVICE
Valentine Ozigbo, a frontrunner in the 2021 race for Anambra governorship, has submitted a feasible roadmap for "the actualisation of an Africa that helps youths reach their full potentials and by so doing, takes her rightful place in the world". Mr Ozigbo, a respected Nigerian business leader and philanthropist, offered his ideas on the liberation of the Black race on Thursday, March 26, 2021, when he received the Focus Africa Award for Service. While speaking at the event held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, Ozigbo maintained that the key to rewriting the story of the Black race is in Nigeria. "Nigeria is uniquely positioned as the most populous black nation. Nigeria has the highest number of black people living outside Africa. If we can set Nigeria on the right path of development, it would have a significant rippling effect on Africa," Ozigbo remarked. "This is why I am offering to play a larger role in actualising the liberation of the black race
