NBM Of Africa Distance Self, Warns Members Against July 7 Celebrations

  The Leadership of the Neo Black Movement of Africa (NBM), a Pan-African Group, has distanced itself from any July 7 (77) celebration, falsely claimed in some quarters to be the group’s founding day anniversary The NBM in a statement released by its National Public Relations Officer, Oluwatosin Dixon, on Wednesday 5th of July 2023, said that the Movement has no celebration nor anniversary known as July 7 (7/7), saying that those spreading the falsehood are not members of the NBM of Africa but imposters and charlatans. “July 7th (7/7)” as acclaimed by the enemies of the NBM of Africa founding date is false and not recognised by the Pan-Africanist group.

Simon Ekpa wants Nnamdi Kanu perpetually detained - Ohanaeze says no sit-at-home

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has urged residents of South-East to ignore Mr Simon Ekpa’s declaration of a one-week sit-at-home in the zone.  Ekpa had announced one week sit-at-home commencing from today, July 3, 2023.  However, in a statement by the National President of Ohanaeze Youths, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, he urged the South-East residents to ignore Ekpa’s directive.  Okwu, who described the order as dictatorial, said there was no justification for someone to relax in his comfortable abode in Finland and then issue orders that others should not seek their daily bread.  The youth group said, “We have always made it clear that Simon Ekpa is not fighting for Biafra; he is only using the name of Biafra to enrich himself.  “He is also not interested in having Mazi Nnamdi Kanu released because he knows any day Kanu is released, his business will end.  “So, he goes ahead taking decisions, issuing orders that would lead to the prolonged detent

Ojoto Community Vigilante Chief, 2 others arrested for murder of Keke rider in Anambra

Police operatives from Ogidi Division, Anambra State have arrested the Ojoto community vigilante commander and two others for the kidnap and murder of a tricycle operator, Christian Oluchukwu Onah. Onah, a 25 year old tricycle rider from Ovoko community, Igbo-Eze South LGA, Enugu State but residing in Oba, Idemili South LGA, Anambra State was declared missing on 28th May, 2023 when he failed to return after going out for the day’s business of tricycle riding transportation. His neighbour in Oba had raised alarm over his whereabouts and subsequently reported to the police.   The owner of the tricycle the missing Christian rides under hire purchase agreement engaged the services of a security tracker that eventually yielded positive fruits leading to the arrest of a man in possession of the missing tricycle used by Christian. Insecurity: Hope Rises For Northern Businesses With New Service Chiefs

As the new service chiefs chart a new course on counter-terrorism in the fight against insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and other forms of criminality in Nigeria, hope appears to have risen for businesses in the Northern part of the country. As part of efforts to achieve internal security across the country, the acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, will today be meeting with Mobile Police Squadron at the force headquarters, Abuja. Egbetokun, who reassured all citizens of Nigeria that the general security of lives and property in Nigeria will be improved in all ramifications, had pledged to return the Mobile Police Force to its past glory.
