Dr Samuel Chudi Ojiako Holds Free Medical Outreach to Immortalize Father


Dr Samuel Chudi Ojiakor, a consultant anesthesiologist, in conjunction with other medical professionals in Anambra has successfully carried out a medical outreach program, in Umuonaga Village in Awka South LGA of Anambra state. The medical outreach was in honor of his father , Late PA Gabriel Onyibor Analokwu Ojiakor. Recall, that this outreach has been done before in commemoration of his 80th birthday before he went to join his ancestors. 

Speaking on the outcome of the medical outreach organized on the 25th of April 2024, a day before the funeral of his late Dad, Dr Ojiakor stressed that the outreach was done to honor and Immortalize his father for his contributions in training several professionals including a doctor, pharmacist, engineer etc in the family. He said that it will be done every two years in his honor. 
He said that " we were actually planning this for his 85th birthday but unfortunately he passed on 3 months to his birthday, so we decided to go ahead with the medical outreach, reason we decided to have the outreach a day before the funeral."

He said that the medical outreach saw to the treatment of over 400 people, where over 120 eye glasses was given free of charge to people, while 15 surgeries was conducted on children and adults, while various degrees of aliments, such as artrieties diabetes, hypertension and many more, was taken care of, he said. 
Dr Ojiakor said he was assisted by over 30 medical doctors and about 20 nurses who helped in making the outreach a huge success.  

One of villager's who participated in the medical outreach Mrs Alice Okafor, thanked God for using Dr Ojiakor and family to solve her medical challenge especially in this time of hardship in the country. She said " I want to thank in a special way our son Dr Samuel Chudi Ojiakor, this is the second time this is happening, where a medical outreach of this nature has come to the aid of the people. I want this medical outreach to be done often to help ensure good health of our people."

Another beneficiary of the medical outreach,Francis Madueke, whose child was operated on for an aliment that has been a burden to him, thanked the organizers of the medical outreach amd prayed that God in his infinite mercy should continue to bless and enlarge their coast to the glory of God Almighty. 


The medical outreach will be a continuous one and will be done every two years to help solve medical conditions in a bid to help ameliorate the sufferings of the masses in Nigeria.
