IKEDI OHAKIM KICKS OFF GUBER CAMPAIGN WITH TOWN HALL MEETING*

In keeping to his promise to engage in issue-based campaigns for the 2019 governorship election, His Excellency Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, the immediate past Governor of Imo State and 2019 governorship candidate of Accord, will on Thursday, 10th January, 2019,  kick off his governorship campaign with a town hall meeting. The town hall meeting which is the first in a series will hold at the popular All Seasons Hotel, Owerri, at 10am prompt. Ohakim will during the town hall meeting unveil his comprehensive policy on health, which will be community driven with the appointment of a Surgeon General for the  state. Ohakim will also unveil his draft bill for the healthcare sector. Ohakim is saddened at the high mortality rate of about 39% and the dearth of healthcare facilities and services in the state as a result of deliberate actions and inactions of the present government since 2011. OKWUDILI EZENWANKWO FOUNDATION GIVES BACK TO CONSTITUENCY.

It was a mecca of sorts yesterday, as Okwudili Ezenwankwo foundation held the 12th anniversary of its youth empowerment and poverty alleviation program at his country home in Nnaka. The event kick-started at about 9Am with athletic competition with members of various age grades,competing at Holy Trinity Parish field Nkwo Agu Nanka, before moving to Oka Agbiligba Hall for the empowerment and poverty alleviation program. Speaking at the occasion, the President of the Foundation Chief Dr Ezenwankwo Okwudili (Ikemba Orumba)  the APGA House of representatives candidate for Orumba North and South Federal Constituency for the 2019 General election thanked God for seeing him through in the journey of life. He welcomed his guests from across his constituency for finding time to grace the occasion, while calling for their unalloyed support to him in the fort coming election. God Is With His People Always, Clergy Assures

The Parish Priest of St. Brigid's Catholic Church Nnarambia Ahiara, in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Rev. Fr. Pius Nwuzo stated this during the Thanksgiving Mass in honor of Fintan Ehioma, whom God saved from drowning in Okatankwo River when Mater Ecclesia Seminary Bus he took on an errand for the School plunged therein. "God wants his people to see life's challenges as stepping Stone instead of stumbling blocks. This will make ones focus to be unshaken." The Clergyman said, pointing out that those who trust in the Lord are as strong as Mount Zion which can never been shaken. James Uwaleke, launch "Strong Woman" By Ada Ukpabia

Dignitaries from all walks of life joined the Radio Nigeria Icon, James Uwaleke, Family, Friends and Well Wishers to thank God for sparing his life after a Partial Stroke Attack. Nigeria’s first executive President Shehu Shagari dies at 93

Nigeria Second Republic President, Alhaji Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari, GCFR, is dead. Shagari reportedly died at the National Hospital Abuja on Friday after a brief illness. He died at the age of 93. His demise was announced on twitter by his grandson, Bello Shagari. Bello wrote, ”I regret announcing the death of my grandfather, H.E Alhaji Shehu Shagari, who died right now after brief illness at the National hospital, Abuja.”
