President Muhammadu Buhari has been asked to sack with immediate effect the Director General of Directorate of State Security (DSS),Ismaila Gwazo. The Human Rights, Liberty Access, and Peace Defenders' Foundation (HURIDE),  made the call in Enugu State, in a press statement insisted that, the sacking of the DSS boss has become imperative following  his anti democratic actions and dispositions with total disregard to the rule of law and the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The statement signed by Dede Uzor A.Uzor, chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT), HURIDE, the group said " in view of the glaring instances of human rights violations and other abuses  by DSS DG and his men, we  call for his immediate removal".He said Since his inception as the DG of DSS, Gwazo's  disposition and activities has shown that words  like democracy and rule of law are not in his dictionary. The Federal House Member representing Nnewi Federal constituency at the National assembly, Hon. Engr Chris Azubuogu, has once more shown that he truly has the interest of his constituents, with the re- energized partnership with the Federal Ministry of health, to bring healthcare to people of his constituents who can not afford such. The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital has organized a stakeholders meeting to address and inform the public of the progress so far in the institution. It is however happy to note that this stakeholders forum meeting is the first in the history of the institution since its inception. The division of interest in Oraifite took another dimension today as mob suspected to be cult members allegedly  took laws into there hands by setting ablaze two policemen with their van. This clash was said to be as a result of the bottled up aggression over the police by members of the group who were not happy how the police treated the matter reported to them as was gathered by Nigerian Notch. It was however gathered by our correspondent, that the matter was connected to the shooting of two people at the house of Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the Lawyer to the embattled IPOB leader, Nazi Nnamdi Kalu, by members of the police, in retaliation the youths of  community killed two police men and burnt them at the  Nkwo Market area of Oraifite.
