The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday, ordered Sen. Ali Ndume be remanded in Kuje Prison following Abdulrasheed Maina, former Chairman, defunct Pension Reformed Task Team (PRTT)’s refusal to appear for his trial. Justice Okon Abang gave the order when Ndume, who represents Borno South Senatorial District, failed to file a formal application to show cause why he should not forfeit the bail bond of N500 million deposed to,  on May 5th to stand as surety for Maina.   The EFCC’s Lawyer, Mohammed Abubakar, had, on Nov. 18, asked the court to make an order for the lawmaker to forfeit the bail bond since Maina, who he stood as surety for, had jumped bail.   Abubakar also asked the court to revoke Maina’s bail and issue a warrant of arrest on him.   Although the court granted the applications by the EFCC on Maina, it gave Ndume an opportunity to appear with his legal representation and adjourned until Nov. 23.

The Buhari Media Organization has branded Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe a ‘liar’ for claiming that only one Igbo man works in Aso-rock during a live interview on Channels TV a few days ago. Six people killed and eleven injured in a fatal crash involving a mini white  bus belonging to CDO transport Company with registration number BGT 313  XA and a white truck without a registration number recorded at 1710hrs this evening 22nd November, 2020 at Niwelle Junction along Nteje - Onitsha express way. Eyewitness report reaching us indicates that the crash occurred as a result of excessive speeding leading to loss of control of the bus and crashing eventually. As IGP Reassures Nigerians Of Improved Security on Highways ahead of the Yuletide    The Nigeria Police have successfully rescued Nine (9) Police Officers who earlier went missing on 8th November, 2020 between Kankara town and Sheme in Katsina State after the night commercial bus they were traveling in came under attack by heavily armed men, all dressed in Military Camouflage, but suspected to be bandits.  The officers, all Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), were on their way to Gusau in Zamfara State from Maiduguri at the time of the incident. Two of the officers are currently receiving medical attention in a hospital, while the remaining seven are being debriefed.  Covert operation to locate and rescue the officers commenced immediately they were discovered missing en-route to their destination. The military under the auspices of Operation Safe Haven has informed the Kaduna State Government of the killing of the District Head of Gidan Zaki, Mr. Haruna Kuye, and his son, Destiny Kuye, in the early hours of Tuesday, November 17, 2020. A statement issued by the Commissioner for Internal security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan on Tuesday morning revealed that they were killed in their residence at Gidan Zaki, Zangon Kataf local government.
