Nwajiuba empowers Queen Amina Support Initiative (QASI) for Talakawas /Almajiri

  ~ donates 5million for Talakawa/Almajiri*  The Honorable Minister Of State For Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba-(HCN) has   empowered  Queen Amina Support Initiative (QASI) for Talakawas /Almajiri with a seed fund of five million naira (N5,000,000.00), to set up a cooperative, for small business, pending when the  (Out -Of-School Children Program) will commence.  This support is very timely as most Talakawas are idle, and roaming the streets, as their means of survival is  by begging for arms. This, was what spurred the minister in making sure that these children are given a source of income through petty busy to sustain themselves.   ~ Calls for concerted efforts to support FG Interventions. Hon. Minister of state Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has harped on Federal Goverment's Commitment towards the growth of education in the country. He made this assertion yesterday in Nasarawa state, when he paid a courtsey visit to the executive governor of the state  Engr Abdulahi Sule, on a one day working visit in the state. He said that the federal government, through various interventions in the educational sector, has transformed the life's of many Nigerian children and young adults. FG Accuse Federal agencies of inflating payroll by N41 billion

The Federal Goverment says it has uncovered fraud in some government agencies amounting to N41 billion.  The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission’s Chairman, Bolaji Owasanoye, stated that the commission had recovered N41 billion from some government agencies and institutions who fraudulently inflated their workers’ payroll. Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Monday, cautioned against anyone politicizing last Saturday’s attempt on his life by suspected armed herdsmen at Tyo-Mu community in the outskirts of Makurdi town along Makurdi-Gboko road.
