Our attention has been drawn to a mischievous  20-point agenda circulating on some social media handles, authored by one Choco Nwaigbo esq, who also appropriated to himself, the position of Special Remote Adviser to the governor on security matter. The 20-point agenda purportedly tagged "Soludo Solution" is a fictitious write-up that was not authorised or emanated from Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo or any of the government agencies. It is purely a figment of the author's imagination and certainly not from the Government of Anambra State. There are designated  channels for any information from the government meant for the public. The public is kindly advised to disregard the said 20-point agenda as a fake write-up.

The former chairman of Nnewi South Local Goverment Area, Apostle Romanus Okoli has passionately appealed to the abductors of Ukpor based politician, Uzozie Chukwujekwu to release him immediately. The appeal was contained in a press release signed by the former LGA chairman made available to journalists on Sunday. Apostle Okoli described the abducted person as his bossom friend and served under him in the council noting that Chukwujekwu is currently the vice president of Ukpor Improvement Union(UIU), Central body and a community leader. A large number of gunmem in the early hours of Saturday swooped on Umudiji Umuohama village Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Goverment Area of Anambra State. A Special Adviser to the former chairman of Nnewi South council area, Hon. Uzozie Chukwujekwu was abducted from his house and his only son was shot in the stomach. The abducted person is a member of St Andrew's Church Umuohama Ukpor. A source who pleaded for anonymity said that the incident happened around 12 midnight noting that the rampaging gunmem shot their way into the compound. He claimed that the gunmem were enraged because Hon Chukwujekwu did not willingly open the gate for them until they forced their way into the family compound. The only son who was said to be fatally shot in the belly was said to have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he is receiving treatment. The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has told the people of the state not to panic over gunmen’s threat to attack local government areas in the state. Soludo described the “anonymous” letter as a tool intended to create tension and fear among the peace loving people of the state. In a statement on Wednesday signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, the governor assured the people of the state and residents of adequate safety and protection as security agencies are jointly working round the clock with the state government to maintain law and order. The Anambra state government has replied the anonymous letter in circulation of an impending threat to LGAs in the state. In a press statement made available to newsmen through the Chief Press Secretary of Governor Charles Soludo, Christian Aburime said that, "The attention of the Government of Anambra State has been drawn to an anonymous threat letter being circulated in the state of a planned attack on ten (10) local government areas in the State. Continuing it read that "According to the said letter, the listed local government areas include; Ihiala, Aguata, Awka North, Nnewi South, Awka South, Idemili North, Idemili South, Orumba North, Orumba South and Anambra East." The anonymous letter no doubt is intended to create tension and fear among the peace loving people of the State. Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo sends his warm congratulatory greetings to former Nigeria goalkeeper, Emmanuel Okala who attained the age of 71 on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Governor Soludo commends Emmanuel Okala's heroic feats as one of Nigeria's outstanding goalkeepers who manned the goal for the Nigeria National football team between 1972 - 1980. The Governor recalls Okala's selfless service and exceptional patriotism to the nation adding that he was in the team that won the All-Africa Games football gold in Lagos in 1973. He was also part of the Green Eagles, now Super Eagles who won bronze at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana 1978. The squad also  finished as runners-up at the All-Africa Games in Algiers four months later. Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has condemned in strong terms, the abduction of the member representing Aguata Constituency II at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Okechukwu Okoye. The Governor also condemned the abduction of Hon. Okoye's Campaign Director, Mr. Cyril Chiegboka. They were both abducted on May 15, 2022. The Governor therefore called for their immediate release. Governor Soludo  however bemoaned the spate of insecurity across the State in recent times where innocent citizens have been attacked or killed, happening at a period when his government is already reaching out to critical stakeholders for the restoration of peace and security in the State. The Governor restates that, the current spike in cases of kidnapping and killing of innocent citizens undermines the sanctity of human lives and no one or group has the right to take human life with such gross impunity. Governor Soludo therefore sympathized with families of those who have directly or indirectly lost their
