Coalition of Civil Society Groups in Nigeria CoCSGiN strongly condemn prison break and burning of Imo State Police headquarters Owerri
The national leader of the Coalition; Engr. Nwosu Emmanuel stated this while addressing newsmen in Abuja in the early hours of Monday, 5th April 2021. He condemned in its entirety the unwaton destruction of Public properties by those he considered to be enemies of the state, Ndigbo and Nigeria in general. "The evil act of these criminals have greatly endangered the lives of Imo people in particular and the South East as a whole"; Nwosu declared. He warned that this is opposition politics taken too far and called on the IG of Police Mohammed Adamu to bring down the full weight of the force on these miscreants. Nwosu called on opposition politicians to leave Imo State alone and allow the People's Governor; His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma to continue with his excellent job of transforming the State as he has done since he took office a year ago.
