Interim National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has said that Nigerians can begin to receive verified election results within three hours of voting if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) fully adopts and deploys modern technological tools in the electoral process. Aregbesola made the assertion during a panel discussion titled “Innovation in Electoral Technology 2015–2025,” where he emphasized that advanced digital systems could significantly enhance transparency, efficiency, and public trust in Nigeria’s elections.
