Police Urge Residents to Stay Vigilant Against Crime in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has called on residents to remain vigilant and cooperative in the fight against crime, despite recent security challenges. In a statement on June 23, 2025, by the command's PPRO SP Tochukwu Ikenga emphasized the importance of community participation in maintaining security and preventing crimes. The police urged residents not to be discouraged from exposing unrepentant criminals, stressing that public cooperation is crucial in helping law enforcement agencies maintain law and order. Fed. Poly, Oko, trains staff on blackboard LMS

Over 200 academic staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra state, were on Wednesday, 18th June,  2025 trained on the Blackboard Learning Management System (BLMS). The training was in line with the 12 points agenda of the rector of the polytechnic, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, which harped on staff welfare and academic reinvention of programmes. The training was aimed at equipping lecturers with necessary skills needed for effective utilization of the blackboard LMS platform in delivering quality educational instruction.  The blackboard LMS  training, which took place at the ICT Academy of the institution, was sponsored by TETFund. Aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Demola Olarenwaju, has denied reports that the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) a yet to be registered political party, has been adopted as the opposition coalition's platform for the 2027 elections. Herdsmen attacks: Ohanaeze disowns reported call for Mbah's resignation

The Apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has distanced itself from a demand for the resignation of Enugu State governor, Barr Peter Mbah. Ohanaeze youths was reacting to a statement published by SaharaReporters, credited to one Mazi David Ani, who asked Mbah to resign over the herdsmen attacks on Isi-Uzo local government area.
