High Chief Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze appointed Nnewi Diocese Bishop's Nominee & Chairman Police Chaplaincy For Zone 13


The managing director of Izudatcares Ventures Ltd, and a front line advocate for good governance and transparency has been appointed Bishop's Nominee for Nnewi Diocese, of the Anglican Communion. This is sequel to an official from the office of the Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Anglican Communion, which was made available to Nigerian Notch. 


In part, the letter states thus "Henceforth, you will have the privilege and honor to attend Diocesan meetings, particularly the diocesan synod, diocesan board and other related meetings where the Bishop would be pleased to have your cherished contributions for the progress of the diocese. You are kindly required to see the appointment as part of your commitment in this regard will be highly appreciated. You status as a nominee of the diocesan bishop is highly cherished and thus, its expected that the confidence reposed in you by the special appointment will be justified"


In the same vein, the Police Force Chaplain Abuja, has also appointed Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze as the chairman of Police Chaplaincy (Protestant) stakeholders forum for zone 13 Awka. In an official communication made available to Nigerian Notch, it stated that based on the express recommendations of Rt Rev Dr Owen Nwokolo, the Bishop on the Niger and the force chaplain representative in zone 13, that High Chief Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze has been appointed to be chairman of Police Chaplaincy for Protestants in the zone. 


The official communication from force headquarters further stated that the duties of his new office shall be thus " to recommend for admission into the zonal Chaplaincy stakeholders forum, for interested Nigerian citizens of impeccable characters, leading the stakeholders in activities that will promote Godliness and Christian welfare among the police community


Furthermore, he is required to coordinate all efforts aimed at evangelism, to stabilize and also grow the kingdom of God, which will include offering helpful advise to the zonal chaplain on matters that will promote good Christian life, thereby promoting God's kingdom and ensuring the maintenance of peaceful relationship between the people and the police in zone 13.

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid. The police and other security agencies were said to have conducted land and aerial raids at the identical hideout of the Iceland cult leader and his gang at Idu-Ekpeye in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers on Saturday, February 17. According to  The Nation , the Iceland cult leader was reportedly feared dead after the operation.   Recall that in September 2023, the late DPO was ambushed and captured by the cult group led by 2Baba in the Odiemudie community, Ahoada East LGA.   2Baba and his gang then took the DPO to the forest, where they killed him and dismembered his body. The cultists then filmed him. Another source, Obi, said he saw no less than 15 vehicles and an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) during the operation.
