2023 IMO GUBER: OWERRI ZONE PDP DECLARES TODAY.

Ahead of the 2023 general election, the leadership of the PDP in Owerri Zone has set aside today Saturday, November 13 for declaration.

Information to this medium revealed that the ceremony which will begin by 12 noon today would have in attendance the PDP big wigs in Owerri Zone as the issue of who flies the party's flag for the Governorship would be the main agenda of the meeting.

In a bid to outsmart the security Agents from interrupting the Governorship declaration which the law forbids from taking place at this time, the organisers of the program deceptively declared the occasion, "Egbu Declaration"

A source close from the group hinted this medium that one of the 2019 Governorship aspirants from Owerri Zone who also wants to declare his Governorship ambition today has challenged the people of Owerri Zone PDP to see 2023 as the last hope for the PDP to take the governance of Imo pointing out that no room for an Orlu or Okigwe person to clinch the Governorship seat of the State, "We shall not remain strangers in our land anymore and Uzodimma must be shown the way out, he said"

Recall that Imo PDP candidate was wrongly and illegally declared winner of the 2019 Governorship election in the State in the person of Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha but was removed by the Supreme Court as Uzodimma was declared the actual winner of the said polls.

However, since assumption of office by Uzodimma on January 2020, the leadership of the PDP in Owerri Zone has not seen anything good in the Uzodimma led administration, even when the present administration pays much attention in developing the said Zone and pays less attention to his Orlu Zone and Okigwe Zones.

Uzodimma led administration has fixed over 40 km of Roads in Owerri Municipal and vowed to complete on going ones as soon as rains are over.

Uzodimma led administration had brought back to the said Zone, most of their Lands forcefully converted into private use by the previous administrations particularly the Okorocha led administration.

Today Traffic jam which Owerri Municipal which has been known for ages and ignored by previous administrations has disappeared as people drive their vehicles with ease in Imo amongst others.

Tension In Uruagu Nnewi As Community Leaders Dare Soludo,Defy Court Order

The President of Uruagu-Nnewi Development Union, Chief Sunday Okoli aka Organizer, and the Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi community in Nnewi North local government area of Anambra State, His Majesty Afamefuna Charles Obi, have swept Soludo's directive to the gutters, by reason of their suspension and subsequent dessolution of the leadership of the community's youth forum, led by Ejike Ifejiofor, and subsequent appointment of caretaker executive to pilot the affairs of youths in the community.
